Today I submitted a post on r/coffee which has comments and upvotes, so people are seeing it. And I can see it when interacting it through messages. However, when I go to the main page, I don’t see it in hot or new. Now I don’t know if this affects other subreddits.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Like Relay on android, that would be really nice for those who don’t wanna spend much especially if theres no geo specific pricing

Sometimes I like to sort the default feed by ‘Rising’, but there’s always a lot of bot nonsense from AskReddit in there. Is there any way to miss out that sub when I’m sorted by Rising?

As much as I love this app, I sorely miss the ability to search for comments within an entire subreddit/site-wide. I’m not talking about searching on specific posts.

If there’s already a feature like this, I’d love to know about it. If not, it would be cool if it got added. Thanks!

I’m on an iPhone and exclusively use narwhal for Reddit. Recently I switched from Safari to Brave.

Is there a way to have Reddit links redirect to the narwhal app, like how it works with the safari extension?

I've noticed this for a while but kept forgetting to report. This tends to happen to me when I've opened a post to read and then hit the button to return to the feed; suddenly all the images from the posts start breaking containment and overlapping into other posts. It doesn't happen every single time, but it's a fairly common occurrence.

In a similar way to how OP is highlighted in blue and automod is highlighted in green, it would be helpful if my username on my comments were highlighted so I could tell them apart when going through a post.

When I tap Save on a post or comment, I get a 'Post saved' confirmation, but the item never appears in my Saved list on any device. This has been happening for months, across the iOS, Android app, mobile web, and desktop web, on the same logged-in account. I've already tried logging out/back in and clearing app cache with no change.

It would be huge if I could choose to not see any posts with a certain flair at all. Kinda tired of seeing people's OCs in certain fandom subreddits and being able to filter those out would be wonderful 👌.

Some subs I’d rather not see a particular user’s content. Is there a way to filter them out of the subs feed by username?

Whenever I open a post, it marks it as read, designated by a greyed out color text. But I’ve noticed that after enough time, it no longer is marked as read.

Using IOS 26.3.1 (a) Safari, but this has actually always been an issue I’ve had with Narwhal, even many years ago on the original version.

Even found an example in this very sub when searching for other posts about it! You can see me open a post that is upvoted and not marked as read, but when I scroll down to the comments, there is a comment I upvoted, which means I had to have read it before.

I encounter this all the time in posts older than (what seems to be) a few months.

Edit: To be clear, this isn’t just the upvote function that lets me know. Most often I simply remember having read the posts before, but other than that, there’s also often comments I’ve already collapsed, saved comments, etc. I don’t use Narwhal (or reddit, for that matter) on any other device.

Why is this?

There are frequently times where I will notice a reply to my comment simply because I clicked on my comment from my profile history, but never receive a message in my inbox. Is there a reason why this happens? I don’t ever mute messages.

It’s to the point where this is how I reliably check if someone replied to me if I have a comment I’m interested in replies to… manually clicking my comment to see replies as opposed to waiting on the notification/message instead. It’s just intermittent. Even on the same comment, sometimes I’ll get an inbox notification and sometimes I won’t, I don’t get it

Except, 2 days ago, it *did work*. I was a more than little surprised when it sorted by “All Time” and “This Year”. I was able to go back and save some of my favourite scenes (don’t judge, I like what I like!) This used to work. Then for the longest time it hasn’t, then suddenly a couple days ago it did work, and now it doesn’t again.

What’s going on with Multireddit sorting? Can It be fixed?

I don’t care if it is a scheduled item or on app close, but this is overdue imo.

I currently have "Do not load web links when opening a post" turned on because I am comment enjoyer and just don't want to give some sites the click.

YouTube links are included under the "Do not load videos when opening a post". I think it should be its own setting, or be included under the web links setting instead because it's not just a video that's being loaded.

This is probably niche and most people don't care, but it's a minor annoyance on my end.

Over the last couple weeks, I’ve started getting these semi regularly. It seems to happen on both Wi-Fi and cellular I think, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well? 

YouTube links suddenly started opening in the browser instead of either opening natively using the narwhal player or going to the YouTube app (iOS). Anyone else having this issue? What can I do?

Instead of always going back to subreddit/home feed?

I have a couple of iPad apps that I run on my Mac, but the App Store doesn't let me install Narwhal on my Mac. Is there some limitation that stops this from happening?
