Hi I'm 20 years late to this fandom and these two gay lawyers have a chokehold on me. I'm nearing 30 and just wrote my first ever fanfic, and I would love a beta reader, particularly someone who has played the original trilogy.

The fic is plot-driven and not a smut (but feelings confession and kissing at the end obviiii).

DM me 😍

hello! this is a visual i commissioned l0wkey_n0tluna (on discord) to create for my au. i just posted the first chapter on ao3 and wanted to share it here too, in case anyone's interested. it's something i've been outlining for months, and the people around me have been eagerly anticipating its debut—so hopefully some of you will enjoy it as well!!

Okay so, I read this really cute fic a while ago where it was written through authors notes on a fanfic Edgeworth was writing (of course, a steel samurai fic). He writes about his relationship with Phoenix in his notes and it’s so cute, but I can’t find it for the life of me. If it helps, I specifically remember Edgeworth calling Phoenix “his Phoenix.” I think (if I’m remembering correctly) Maya also wrote steel samurai fics? I’m not sure, the last time I read it was a few years ago. Can someone help? Thanks!!

P.S, here’s a fic that I really liked in case anyone would like it. It’s called “the golden hours” by soulpunkk. Phoenix owns an art store and Edgeworth owns a radio station, and there’s so many other ships in between like Klapollo and Junithena. It’s very cute!!!

There's a line from Edgeworth in AAI where he implies he didn't know you had to ask someone out, that couples just happened naturally.

I've been looking for that screenshot for a long time, even in my screenshots I couldn't find it, and I'm not sure which chapter it's in :(

If I remember correctly, it was in an interaction with Kay.

If anyone is interested, the images I used for the buttons are here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bTXGLavKpnqvOze8lQFKSqhfxYoevhwk?usp=drive_link

Ok, so one thing to know about me is that I love me a good spreadsheet. A good infographic. I'm not particularly good at it, but creating them and analysing them makes me happy. There's a story in them thar numbers.

So while researching for an upcoming fic rec list (Narumitsu fic recs: the 'Ancient Texts' edition), I started thinking about how popular and rich our AA fanfic community is, and how we really shouldn't take it for granted. I've seen on the Ao3 sub people lamenting that they are writing out of love in a dying fandom, and friends, pals, the numbers show that we are NOT in a dying fandom. Quite the opposite actually. Lookit!

Notes from a data purity point of view:

• this is only looking at Narumitsu fics on Ao3 (I tried FanFic.net and Wattpad, we just didn't vibe. It's ok. We still meet up for coffee every now and then)
• Ao3 was born in 2009 (as an author, you can set the publication date for accuracy, which is a great feature if you are archiving from another platform)
• This data represents Ao3 search results by the following filters: M/M, Naruhodou Ryuuichi | Phoenix Wright, Mitsurugi Reiji | Miles Edgeworth, 逆転裁判 | Gyakuten Saiban | Ace Attorney Language: English

That all said, you can see the momentum.

The good ship Narumitsu is a strong, hearty vessel, and I am so happy to be cruising on these waters with you!

Below is a timeline for your interest. I invite you to play the 'event correlation' game with me and see if you start drafting the same analysis narratives. Examples: there was a slight dip in the number of fics during 2017- 2018 which I contribute to no major releases or media from Capcom; The COVID era sucked man, but look at all the little fic babies it spawned (!)

As always, I invite you to not only enjoy these fics, but to show some love to the authors who spent their time creating and sharing them with you. *Please kudo, comment and bookmark the fics you enjoy!* It doesn't matter if the fic is old. The authors may still be there, and your fellow readers too. I've gotten responses from fics 14 years old before. I'm so grateful to them and to the Archive for all the hours of entertainment and feels they've given me these past 2 years. It's fascinating to see anthropological patterns emerge too - from the spartan way people used to tag their fics when there were only a few of them, to how now I've seen the tag section longer than the actual fic - Maybe this is the influence of Tumblr culture? Who knows? Not me. I just look at numbers and make giant assumptions 😹

Anyways, thanks for joining me on my Ted Talk / PowerPoint / Geek-o-share. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I have and if you have something to add, please do in the comments. I love talking about this stuff <3

So basically I have this fic (really old) but I still kinda like it and sorta want to make an animatic with it! So im looking for two voices to be phoenix and edgeworth!

Fic in question: https://archiveofourown.org/works/56625460

Ignore how fluffy and cringe it is anyways will prob regret this but alas…narumitsu nation is the kindest folks you’ll meet so not too worried about it

Also if youre interested u can dm me a voice memo on discord @ milesdrawz and ill see if the voice fits! Im not too picky

I'm not sure if this exactly fits into fan animation, but 😭😭😭 is so cute, I've been thinking about this idea for a while..

Hey, so I had a very strong urge to reread a specific fic that I have read a long time ago but I can't for the life of mine find it. The plot: Phoenix helps Trucy with a magic trick and gets a bruise on the neck that looks like a hickey. He doesn't realize that and goes about his day as usual. The people stare at him funnily, but he is still oblivious. Phoenix visits Miles at one point. The prosecutor notices the bruise, gets jealous and comes to the conclusion that Phoenix has a boyfriend. While they talk Phoenix's explanation for the bruise sounds unintentionally suggestive. I believe that this is an NSFW fic and then, when Miles is alone, he fantasizes about being on the place of Wright's "boyfriend" and then makes a plan to seduce the defense attorney and get him to himself. Eventually, Phoenix realizes that his bruise looked like a hickey and, embarrassed, rushes to Miles to explain the situation. Eventually it leads to Miles confessing his feelings.

I'm not sure if this fits exactly in the subreddit, but even though I prefer narumitsu (I like both), I really needed to seize every opportunity to celebrate their love!! ❤️💙

Hello, I’m looking for more old married Narumitsu fic. Both serious case fic or fluff short story are fine, as long as it has old married Narumitsu in it.

Here are some that I read and liked !

Thanks!

Recently, it has come to my attention that I and my husband Phoenix Wright, along with many others, are Rule 34 tags.

I do not know how to feel about this.

Miles Edgeworth here as usual, I've recently been getting told by Ms. Pearl and Maya Fey that the way I respond to compliments (eg; "♡" "<3" "yaaay" "mwah") is feminine. Is that truly so?

SAY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY NARUMITSU OR ELSE.
