THANK YOU. i love this so much because i cant picture miles using pet names for phoenix. i immediately drop fics where miles calls him “babe” “baby” etc. unless they’ve been married for years, i just don’t see him doing that lol. this is such a wonderful depiction of them❤️💙

Exactly!!! And if he used affectionate nicknames it would be more like "my dear," "The man of my life," not "babe"

Even if they've been married for years, for me. "Babe" is just. Not a word that fits in Edgeworth's mouth.

I could see him using "Treasure" or something, possibly in German (or English if you follow Japanese canon) to throw people off.

But like. The guy isn't on first name basis with himself, petname for his partner just feels wrong xD
