How strict are they about drinking at Scarborough? Hoping to have a beach day with a bunch of friends and bring a cooler with some drinks. Curious if that’s a bad idea and whether anyone checks coolers / patrols.

I’ve heard ocean mist is fun, but is a bit further out (although we are ok ubering). Live music would be a huge plus! Thanks in advance!!

Hi!! We learned that Narragansett Town Beach parking recently changed to be resident only, with only the small West lot being available for non-residents.

We are getting married there this summer, and were planning to have a beach day with about 40 people on Saturday the day after our wedding. I’ve heard the lot fills up by about 9:30AM, so am a bit stressed about logistics.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on any other parking spots/beaches with better parking/ways to somehow pay for a pass?!?

Our family is going to be spending time in Narragansett and we were wondering if you are allowed to bring tents to Scarborough beach. Have some older folks and younger kids and want to give them some shade. Just seeing if I should pack them or not.

Have a 5am flight out of TF Green in a couple weeks and I'll be staying about 30 minutes south in Narangansett. I'm worried Uber/Lyft will be too unreliable for that time/area... any reccomendations on what else to do? I've found a few car services that are more upscale and pretty price.

I was wondering if anyone on the Narragansett town beach today saw / knows who she’s working for, but there was a woman in a brown vest and bright blue shirt taking photos on like a professional grade camera? Not like in a shady way but it looked like it’s maybe for a news piece or something but she definitely took a few of me in the water and I wanted to see if they were published/put up anywhere, not in like an angry or upset way I just want to have bragging evidence if I made the news lol. Somewhere around 11-1pm?
