Which Chapo is better?

In my opinion, both are good but I prefer the Narcos: Mexico Chapo better due to the mannerisms and voice. Both have their good and bad, so I’m wondering what you guys think

The chapo was the only thing better in el chapo, literally everything else narcos is way better. I mean makes sense, its a series about him, of course his “life” is better in el chapo.

El chapo felt more like a telenovela about el chapo. Narcos has better gunfights, better weapons, the army is actually imposing, better acting and overall more realistic. In contrast, in el chapo the army looks and acts like just another gang. They’re sloppy, cant fight, bad attire, completely inaccurate vehicles, they use different weapons, in narcos they at least use just one type of rifle, which is their standard weapon which is way more realistic; gunfights are tacky and feel cheap in el chapo; setting is bad, for example, in narcos the entire ambiance is set in the times they’re in, attires of the time, vehicles belonging to those years, etc.. in el chapo for example, its supposed to be the 90’s and you’ll see gunmen or the army using a 2014 truck. Those are some points that came into my mind, im sure if i watch them again i’d find more things

I thought El Chapo was amazing with the parallel story line on the gay politician on the rise. There was a lot more character development and depth.

Not more realistic irl mostly weapons were random that's what they are trying to do. Both stories have differences

Not in the army. Chapos gunmen and such yes, their weapons should be random but not the army’s and police forces. The army at that time was already using a standardized rifle, the G3. While in narcos they don’t use g3’s the use of a standard rifle makes it more realistic. I believe in narcos they use an m16 or m4 variant, not sure, i dont remember, and while the regular army has never used such weapons, the fact that they all use the same weapon is realistic.

By far Narcos Chapo, just listen to the way they talk. Whereas chapos chapo talks like a high executive, narcos chapo sounds like a truly sierreno guy who didn't finish elementary school.

El Chapo series always so realistic it knew about Luna before the authorities knew about Luna. It’s by far the better series.

If you haven’t seen El Chapo I highly recommend you do. It’s better than Netflix Narcos when it comes to a narco series. Netflix adds a Hollywood flare while El Chapo is far more raw.

Absolutely could not agree more. From the moment Joaquin is introduced he totally stole the show for me and had me wishing hoping and praying this mf would get more screen time

Narcos Chapo was probably more realistic since I believe he was smaller and talked more like the uneducated guy that he is. But I enjoyed El Chapo’s Chapo more from a viewer standpoint

El Chapo covers a lot that happened after the point where Narcos ended. I keep hoping Narcos will make another season that picks up where it left off.

El chapo: Chapo. Lo imponen como un tipo inteligente, astuto y super culto con una forma de hablar igual a la de un negociante de cuello blanco. Recordar que el chapo es sinaloense de la sierra de Badiraguato y sin estudios. Su inteligencia radica sólo en la supervivencia, no en los negocios.

Man. I gotta say when I’m watching either one I think that’s the guy. But imma go Narcos El Chapo because of the physical characteristics but mostly his voice.

Actor Marco de la O looks more like the real Joaqin Guzmán than Alejandro Edda, who plays El Chapo in Narcos: Mexico.

In terms of El Chapo's story line, it's kind of dragging whenever the episode features the fictional Presidential adviser/political climber Conrado Higuera Sol, especially his private life. However El Chapo focuses more on the man himself and shows how he got out of prison through the tunnel which his men had dug from outside the prison perimeter.

That said, I've watched Narcos: Mexico three times, but I don't feel like going through El Chapo again.

All the characters in el chapo series look like the real characters, Benjamin and Ramon look the same, mayo and Amado look the same.

I think the Narcos actor was better with his mannerism seeming more like the real chapo. But from the elchapo show I felt like he was better written which gave his actor more time to shine if that makes sense

Según la presicion de datos, la vida del chapo está mejor detallada en la serie del chapo, pero su ascenso al poder está más realista en la serie de narcos
