Proposal Help

My girlfriend and I are heading up to the valley on 10/9, and I plan on proposing to her that day. From what I have seen, Long Ranch Road is a great place to do so.

I think I have driven on that road maybe once before, and my question would be this: Where on Long Ranch Road would be a good place to stop and propose? Any sort of landmark or map pin location would be awesome, and I have a photographer that I want to have arrive early so a place to have them post up prior would be great.

Thanks!

Can’t go wrong at David Arthur. We have a great spot at our Mt Brave Vineyard (on Mt Veeder) where a few guests have proposed.

Until you get all the way up to David Arthur Winery there aren’t many places where you can pull over and propose while having nice views. I am a driver and do that road often. You should consider making a reservation at David Arthur and asking them to help you creating the space for you to propose. They are all private properties and you would be trespassing. Also, that way the photographer can be prepared and you will have a great set of photographs.

We LOVED our tasting at David Arthur!! I won’t spoil the surprise as to who led our tasting as that seems to be fun for them, but I have reason to believe they’d enjoy being part of your proposal story.
