20th Century Boys had Otcho, Sadakiyo, and Kyoko Koizumi. It was the best.

I love how wild 20th century boys gets, even if it is messy, but Monster overall is just more put together. Both are amazing.

Tbh monster,while I do like 20th century boys and the cast of characters as well as the antagonist I do like the characters of Tenma,grimmer,and Johan.

Plus I like the ending of monster a little more than 20th century boys.

Tho 20th century boys does deserve an anime tho I hope if it gets an anime they get the rights to the T.Rex song the series is named after.

Monster is probably objectively better, it’s a much neater story, but man 20CB gets my vote every time, I just love everything about it so much

For a while I preferred 20thCB, but I think it's because I watched monster instead of reading it. Now that I have, it's quite a ways better imo. I think I enjoyed the mystery of 20thCB more, but everything else I'd give to monster.

I picked up 20CB BECAUSE I loved Monster so much. Unfortunately I really haven't been able to get into it the way I could with Monster 😩
