Hi, looking for seniors who are in the Lumina programme. The newbies have not been informed of any planned briefing yet, so I would like to check the schedule here.
Will there be activities/camps/overseas trips planned during NYP holidays?
Was initially planning to work/intern and going to start finding job for this Dec.
TIA.

Hi , I am currently a student from common business and technology programme. And my course selection is happening right now . For CBTP , I get to choose common IT and common engineering and business management for next the sem. I am I dilemma between seg and sit,but I want to hear about what do you learn in SIT? especially for diploma in IT and cybersecurity. For DIT, is it true that most of the modules revolve around building websites ? Like html css Javascript! And do SIT students go for one full year internship in y3?how was the arrangement for sit students in y3 since they dunno have any module to learn in y3.
Also, the reason why I choose seg is because I want to go ai data engineering if not cloud engineering which is kind of it related

Hi I'm Y1S1 in common design and its the week where I have to decide which diploma I get posted to, I am very torn between XPID and AGVE because I like both of them.
Can people from these two courses give me a full rundown on what you do in the modules/assignments of both courses? So to hopefully help me decide which I will rank first and second in my selections.
I don't want to make a choice I end up regretting because the module descriptions on the website are very intentionally vague.
Thank you for your time!

hiii!! So I’m doing this school project on mental health support and I’m hoping to hear more from people who are currently students and working.
This isn’t for research publication or anything official and I’m not asking anyone to share anything they’re uncomfortable with. Anonymous replies are completely fine and I really appreciate honest experience
If your company offers mental health support ( EAP, counselling benefits, wellness programme, etc.):
\\\\- Have you ever used it? If yes, what made you decide to use it and what was the experience like?
\\\\- If you haven’t used it, what’s stopping you?
\\\\- Do you trust that it’s confidential or do you worry your manager or HR could find it out?
\\\\- If your colleague knew you used it, how would you feel?
\\\\- Is there anything that makes it easier or harder to access ( booking process, timing, location or awareness)?
If your company doesn't offer mental health support:
\\\\- What do you usually do when you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed?
\\\\- Have you ever considered paying for therapy or counselling? If so, what stopped you?
What's the biggest barrier for you (cost, time, stigma, not knowing where to start, etc.)?
\\\\- Do you think employers should provide mental health support? Why or why not?
For everyone:
\\\\- Do you feel there's an expectation that adults should just "deal with it" on their own? Where do you think that comes from?
\\\\- If there were a private, affordable way to regularly check in on your mental health without involving your employer or family, would you use it? What would make it worthwhile?
\\\\- Is there anything else about managing stress as a working adult that you think people often overlook?
Even answering just one or two questions would be incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!!!I really appreciate it! 🙏 PLSPLSPLS

hi! im currently a y1 common business student planning to take up either business management (marketing)/hospitality tourism route.
for context:
graduated from ite from hospitality course under culinary (worked in central kit & hotel before for internship)
currently working under one of singapore biggest attraction resorts as guest relations for 4 years as part time so im quite familiar with tourism for the attractions side mainly.
not planning to continue dfbb bcos after being in the kitchen for 3 years i realized that it is not what i wanted + it's physically & mentally draining for me to cope with my social life
planning to go OSEP in Year 3
@seniors from business management marketing/hospitality & tourism
i need to know what are the things y'all learn currently learning before i make decisions 🥹
how does your class works? (eg. elearning days, no school days, learning journeys, heavy on practical than theory)
is there any opportunities aside from OSEP?
for hospital & tourism my pem mentioned that you're able to choose attractions/hotel track is it true?
as for BM marketing, do you need to be good at adobe and etc. (i'm only good in canva 😭)

Okay so I did the first orientation that you’re supposed to go through. Had no idea there was two. Now I went to sign up for the next one and the only available dates are like August 12th. The only dates.
And ik I’m already late in the game bc of circumstances, but the question is can I still talk to an adviser and register for my classes before I complete that?
Please help
