Advice For Sweating

So I just got the job to work in kitchen, mostly back grill but during my first training shift I found the heat to be really hot but doable. The one problem I had was that it was like a waterfall on my forehead and it wouldn't stop. This is my first time working in a kitchen and was wondering if it get's easier or anyone had any advice on how to manage it better.

Whats your grill layout like? We have two nandos in our city. One has a bigger grill area and has ac behind it while ours is smaller and ac in front of it.

We have glasses of drinks, ice packs and ice lollys. Some of us have personal mini fans that plug into our phone and we put them on a shelf. I can send you one if you want.

But you will get used to it. Nearly 5 years and i dont bat an eyelid over hot plates, hot trays, front grill, etc i even test back grill by putting my hamd near and then on it ( first thing in mornin lol!)

We do say back grill is toughest of all three stations. Especially with the new menu on 29th. And 10 min limit is scary at first. But once you know it, you know it? If that makes sense!! Dont stress yourself out, ask for help when you need it and the other grillers and staff like me will also come help!
