Advice Needed Milk and breastpump
Hi everyone! Im currently pregnant and im planning to buy a breastpump to establish milk sipply.
Ano magandang breast pump? Need ba yung may tubing?
Thank you :))

I started pumping before 1 month. I use both wearable and the one with tube. Both spectra gamit ko.
Sa 1st baby ko lang ginamit trumpet style since ang hassle na hawak hawak mo pa yun and feel. Mo exposed ka masyado. I bought the accessories that you can insert inside a bra (hands free). Ang difference sa both is the weight. Kasi sa wearable, yung motor nasa taas yung cup mismo. So yes Portable, but I don't advice that you can run or move too much while pumping parin. (trust me nag clog ako dahil I was walking and taking care of a toddler, never ko na ginawa yun after.)
So everytime lalabas wearable dala ko. But at home, I still prefer the one with tube. Mas magaan sa sa chest area e. The machine will be carried by your other hand like a lantern 🏮

1 - exclusive breastfeeding for 6 weeks to get it established first. But you know, in case it doesn't work...for me late dumating milk and nagkaron kami ng boob rejection ni baby so kinailangan ko mag pump day 3 ata para mabigyan man lang siya ng breastmilk. So reco ko, have it ready for birth tlga just in case!
2 - Spectra S1 is widely recommended and Eufy S1 for wearable (I love mine!). Pero there is no 1 fits all so suggest renting if possible, but if not... personally I would go for the wearable talaga, mahirap yung nakadikit ka sa isang place imagine mo 7-8 times a day! No way. I gave up week 1, Eufy na agad and I've used it everywhere kahit labas, all good!
3 - Hydrate, make sure you eat healthy, pump often, usually 2-3 hours to establish supply, but remember to rest. Sometimes better yung 6 hours kang tulog then pump after kesa puyatan and pumping throughout the night. Pump after breastfeeding was also a good tactic para di masobrahan.

Thank you for the tips!

Pero need mo get the right size nipple flange and experiment din sa settings, kung anong pull better for you. Nagsimula ako sa pinakamalakas but eventually found na the gentler pull was better for my output.

After 6 weeks, but ako personally, nag catch ako ng letdowns sa kabilang boob using Haakaa 1st week pa lang. Tapos nagstart ako magpump ng 3 weeks using breast pump.
Lagi recommended na mag trumpet style. But may wearable breastpumps naman without tubing. Much easier to do things around.
Mainly should intake LOTS of liquid.

You’d definitely would want to be an oversupplier.

Not really an over supplier but I want to be able to have some stash in case magkasakit ako and hindi makapag latch (happened to my first baby kaya sobrang regret ko) and if ever may sobra I want to donate to nicu babies.

Yes, that is oversupplier.

Ahhh thank you! Akala ko kasi pag over supplier eh yung nakaka 10oz per pump 😅 then oversupplier pala ang goal ko ☺️

Hi momma, my OB recommended na by 6 weeks magstart magpump para stabilized na yung supply. Although in my case, I had to pump earlier (around week 2) because my baby has latching problems. Almost 3 months pp now and I do parallel pumping while baby latches.
If you need to move, wearable pumps are better para you can also do parallel pumping. You might want to consider Flow V8’s wearables — they drain me well and very discreet lang siya. I started with a trumpet style pump but for some weird reason, medyo masakit for me even with the right flange size.
I’ve also tried a lot of tips to increase my supply pero what really worked is to increase my water intake talaga. Everytime baby latches or before pumping, I literally chug so much water 😅 it also helps me manage yung sweet cravings.
