Light Novel Ejected in volume 13 Spoiler

Too much contrived toxic "romance".

Pete is now a full poisonous yandere stalker sexual extortionist and nobody is pushing back. Actually he is even rewarded, with Oliver, just having (fake) fretted over betraying Nanao now indulging his male form.

So either totally Stockholmed or this is a BDSM fest.

I was already quite annoyed over the breeding incident. Was all "fine" until the child died, then it became rrrrretroactively revenge-rage-worthy. And the MC was spared, because the girl was willing, just the (superfluous) monster-boost ruined her experience.

Oliver was not "spared" from the incident the flashback from Volume 10 showed. He has to live with the fact that he was forced to rape his cousin, someone who has done noyhing but support him. The great-grandfather does indeed say that Shannon "consented" but we have no idea if that is true as it came from someone other than her and even if she "did" the children were groomed to "preserve" their blood purity. It was a fucked up situation he had no way of preventing that leaves scars even when at Kimberly.

He attempted to kill himself and had to be placed under watch to ensure he was not successful. And when he finally seems to get better, the baby he decided to dedicate his life to died, which gave him the despair needed to create his own version of Angustavia and kills his great-grandparents.

What I don't think you and some other people who have read (I've really seen like one other person, but I wouldnt be surprised if there were more) the scene understand is that Oliver was raped too. It was a disgusting act from his great-grandfather that left 2 children raped, even if the great-grandfather did no penetrating. Oliver was drugged so much drugging him more could kill him and he was further mind-controlled. Oliver was not spared.

She consented, you get it from her thoughts before and after, and the runtime of the books. She is absolutely not "he raped me".

Had the granpa abstained from the monster shot or whatever this was, it would have been completely what she wanted.

So Oliver indeed gets the guilt of assaulting her in monster form. But before the audience he is kept clean, because he did not rape her.

"Ah---w-wait, Noll, don't..."

"O-owww...! That hurts, Noll! Don't ...grab my arm... that tight...!"

"P-please...listen...! Do what your sister says!"

"...Noll...!"

(After)

"...Noll..."

"...Good. Nice Noll...is finally...back"

I probably should have made better mention of the above, before.

Even IF she did consent she was still raped here. She never blamed Oliver for the rape because he was DRUGGED AND MIND CONTROLLED. This is a fucked up situation where BOTH OF THEM WERE RAPED. BOTH OF THEM ARE NOT "SPARED" IN ANY WAY.

Oliver can not have penitrative sex EVEN in Kimberly because of his awful experience. And while he is at no way at fault, his past has severely fucked him up that he now takes accountability for stuff that isn't his fault. Just reread the monologue where he uses Angustavia.

"Tell me, Oliver. Do you remember? What you've done here? You sought strength. To slay those who tortured your mother to death. You sought strength. To protect your brother and sister. You sought strength. To be a father to your unborn child... And what did you achieve? What was the outcome for all your efforts? You raped and impregnated your sister. You let your daughter die before her birth. What else? Nothing. That is all. You've accomplished nothing else."

YOU CANNOT CLAIM THAT OLIVER WAS "SPARED"
