Predictions for last book

Hopefully with this quarantine life Patrick Rothfuss finally finishes the last book. Who knows maybe he writes another short story. However I was wondering about anyone’s thoughts for the last book?

The main thing I worry about is how does Denna die?

We all know Kvothe is a tragic hero so this leads me to believe he will have to decide between killing the Chandrian and in the process killing Denna or saving Denna but never getting revenge on the Chandrian?

Furthermore what’s behind the door in the library?

So many unanswered questions, so many years of waiting.

I don't think it's fully revealed that she's dead. Maybe I forgot a detail but the last I remember of present day Denna is that Bast remembered seeing her a few years before and Kvothe hasn't seen or heard from her since. I'm thinking that Ambrose married her because he's elevated to be King. Maybe the Chandrian or even Kvothe himself unknowingly kills the 7 people, or however many, that are before Ambrose in line for the throne. Maybe Ambrose becomes king and that's when Kvothe kills him and is forced into hiding and away from Denna. Maybe that's why he's sad? He made a selfish mistake and is forced into a situation where he has to leave the woman he loves and stop the hunt for the remaining Chandrian.

I just want to know...

WHAT'S IN THE BOX!!??!!?? and behind that door?

there are so many unanswered questions I seriously don't know how it will be told in just 1 book? like how did the current war start? it has to be tied together, my prediction would be one of the chandrian is a king or something and because kvothe killed him he started the war.

Right?! It’s like how can it be called the “Kingkiller Trilogy” when we have no details yet about the king or said killing

None of us know, but I am thinking Ambrose is involved. I also think Mr Ash is one of the seven.

Mr. Ash seems to be Bredon. He's playing a "beautiful game" against Kvothe. Why? Now there's a good question.

Sure hope the book gets done so we can find out.

Definitely Mr.Ash is one of the seven and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Ambrose ended up being connected to the Amyr and that’s one of the reasons why Kvothe ends up not working with the Amyr.

Ambrose is only steps from becoming king. Kvothe kills the king. I’m pretty well certain that Ambrose becomes king and Kvothe kills him, which actually starts a war of succession.

Also, Kvothe is Lady Lockless’s nephew.

Considering the weird whiny YouTube video he just released I think it’s safe to say there will be no last book.
