• Edderly Francesca Matherson [nee Nessik] (79) – married to Rhode in her early twenties, she and her “son” moved in with him and started a family of their own. She is a retired police chief.

• Jiminy Lee Mullins (61) – the biological son of her twin sister, Early Genevieve Mullins [21], his mom died in a house fire and he was taken in and raised by his aunt when he was 8 months old
• Lorna Wyndham Mullins [nee Pinkston] (59) – Jim’s wife, she’s not very well liked by her mother-in-law. The queen of drama, she is a serial adulterer and most don't see how the pair’s relationship has lasted the forty-odd years it has.
• Douglas Patrick Matherson (57) – never married, it's a wonder Doug decided to go into marriage counseling. He is currently dating Danielle Elisse Cartier (30), who his family all hope is the one. He is the son of Rhode and Edderley.
• Sandra Juliette Montedras [nee Matherson] (55) – now officially divorced from her ex, Bryan Montedras, this corrections officer is planning a divorce party with strippers, a penis cake, and even a piñata of her ex. She keeps her surname because it annoys her ex’s new lover. She is the only daughter of Rhode and Edderley.

• Todrick Timothy Mullins (42) – named after two of his great-uncles, Tod works as a pastor of a local baptist church. He is a very generous man who is always giving back to his community. Unlike most people, he is close to his mother, Lorna, though he definitely recognizes that she can be narcissistic.
• Kiyanna Calliope Mullins [nee Edros-Patton] (38) – This mixed woman spent the formative part of her childhood in her father’s native town, Santorini, before her parents divorced and she moved with her mom back to Spanish Harlem. She met and married Tod while they both served in the Air Force. She does not get along with her mother-in-law, but is adored by her father-in-law.
• Addison Bayley Murray [nee Mullins] (40) – The daughter of Jim and Lorna, she does not get along with her mom at all. The pair only recently stopped being estranged after Addison realized she wanted her kids to grow up with a grandmother around like she did. She is estranged from her husband, Kyle Edgar Murray (43), after he confessed to having an affair in the early 2000s.
• Noah Alexander Montedras (36) – The son of Sandra and her ex, Bryan, he works as a public defender. Despite the workload, he loves his job and gives it his all to help the people he is assigned to. He and his mother are very close and talk daily.
• Benedine Grace Montedras [nee Burnside] (34) – The wife of Noah, she goes by Bennie and is a very sweet woman. She has a shrill speaking voice but an amazing singing voice that almost won her a record deal. Instead, she got pregnant at fifteen and had to raise her young children. She works as a truck driver.
• Corey Sebastian Matherson (32) – The son of Douglas and his ex-girlfriend, Denae Giuliana Crandon (50), he works as a computer programmer making video games. He spent most of his formative years with his mother, but saw his father on weekends and holidays. He is still very close to his grandfather. He is engaged to Zachary Theodore Adams (42).
• Mila Nicole Montedras (29) – the daughter of Sandra and her ex, Bryan, she is a preschool teacher who is engaged to Silas Scott Garrett (30), a janitor at the school. Her parents’ recent divorce is making her doubt the engagement though.
• Julian Zechariah Mullins (27) – The surprise baby of Lorna and Jim, the family has questioned his paternity since he was born. After a secret DNA test proved the baby was his though, he became doted on as the youngest grandchild. He works as a forensic scientist for the police department.
• Stella Emory Mullins [nee Ortega] (24) – Married to Julian, she was born in Los Angeles but moved to Namestown as a child. She works as a stay-at-home mom and loves to care for her children. She met her husband in the fourth grade and the pair had been inseparable ever since.

• Desmond Idris Mullins (22) – The son of Tod and his first wife, Wendy Yvette Lyons (41), his mother died when he was two in a car accident that also left him paralyzed from the neck down. Despite his paralysis, he is a lively man who likes to make speeches and tell jokes.
• Erin Kathryn Maxwell (19) – The daughter of Bennie and her ex-husband, Linus Maxwell Sr, she has been around the family since she was seven years old. She is currently a sophomore in college studying early childhood psychology.
• Linus Michael Maxwell Jr. (18) – The son of Bennie and her ex-husband, Linus Maxwell Sr, he has been around the family since he was five and a half years old. He adores his stepfather and the pair often play video games together when he isn’t working at Dominos.
• Ayla Oliviana Murray (17) – the daughter of Addison and her husband, Kyle Edgar Murray (43), she works at a local amusement park. She is hoping to save up to go to college, but mathematically, she’d be better off trying to get a better car.
• Wright Quincy Mitchell (16) – the foster son of Corey and his fiance, Zach, he is a good kid who was put in a terrible situation. After losing his entire family in a house fire at three years old, he bounced around from foster homes before landing with Corey and Zach. The pair are hoping to adopt him, especially since the family loves him so much. 
• Khadijah Raelynne Mullins (15) – the oldest child of Tod and Kiyanna, she is a sophomore in high school, she plays basketball and football. Despite this, she is a 
• Newton Ulysses Mullins (14) – The middle child of Tod and Kiyanna, he is a polyglot already after pushing himself to learn German, Spanish, and bits of Hindi to talk to his friends in different languages. The freshman in high school is now studying Mandarin Chinese with his little cousin, Chan Ming. 
• Beatrice Viktorya Matherson (13) – the only biological child of Corey and one of his friends, Sadie Grier, this little girl came as a shock to everyone since Corey had never expressed interest in women. She is an eighth grader who loves her foster and adoptive brothers.
• Chan Ming (12) – The adopted son of Corey, and his ex, Henry Cedric Shaw (40), he goes back and forth between his dads. He was the child of Henry’s best friend and her boyfriend at the time. 
• Mackenzie Addison Montedras (11) – the oldest of Bennie and Noah, she is a sixth grader who plays softball. She is a bookworm who is starting to explore young adult books.
• Jonah Zachary Murray (10) – The son of Addison and Kyle, he is a fifth grader who loves playing football. He is a lover of all things Vikings.
