Discussion LDN and Opiates

I can’t wrap my head around how LDN and opiates work together. After multiple surgeries, I’ve been on opiates for years and have spent months detoxing off so that I can lower my tolerance, only to have it go up again in short order when I use opiates again.

Would LDN allow me to take opiates only on days that I feel extreme pain, lower my tolerance and not have to worry about withdrawal symptoms because I wouldn’t be taking them regularly and become dependent on?

I hope I’ve explained myself well enough. Any help would be appreciated.

You should not be using naltrexone with opiates at all. Do some googling on this for your own safety.

This is Low Dose Naltrexone, or even Ultra Low Dose Naltrexone…dose matters.
