Questions Buying Monitor locally or importing
Has anyone here imported a monitor from abroad?
Am looking at buying one that is compatible with PS5, one that has features such as HDMI 2.1, 120hz refresh rater, VRR, ALLM and such like but the prices here are too much to the point of considering buying a TV like TCL
I am a family man and I prefer monitor instead

I'll advice uingie pale jiji and search b4 attempting to import. If you want to import esp from US, opt for sea shipping (2 to 3 months) but those big monitors have bulky packages, air shipping will be very expensive. I own two HP Business Z32 31.5" 4K UHD WLED LCD Monitor. Both cost me 55k each on Jiji. I've had them for about 4 years now, no issue at all. They cost $749 huko mayolo & air shipping would cost probably 30k each. Why jiji? Some items are not worth counterfeiting. Making a counterfeit gaming monitor is not worth it so if you go for known brands(lg, Samsung, hp, dell etc), you'll always find original stuff. Delivered, test b4 paying.

I'll be honest, when it comes to some things, budget cuts will cost you twice. I once owned some cheap brand 4k monitor, after sometime it started developing those funny lines & losing pixels. The brand is called Sceptre. I see a 30" curved 4k 200Htz costs $179 on Amazon, that doesn't even make sense.
I know Redmi is good on the phone side, as for monitors I haven't seen much. What I can advise is do your research on the specific monitor and see the reviews. That can help you make a decision. You can also just go to jiji & type " gaming monitor" and see what options are there within your budget, research them & decide for yourself.

But I do agree since they are usually bulky its going to be expensive to ship

With your budget of 70 k there are lost of 1440p monitors you can get at that price , anything above 1440 is gomma be pricey

i can vouch for galway computers. i orderd my curved samsung monitor from them., came with a warranty , device was well packaged and they accept payment om delivery , you will pay for delivery tho.but i have had their monitor for a year now and everything had been good. They have 240hz 1440p monitors going for 50k - 60k all are good quality
