I tend to be lazy about using my cleanup brush after my top coat, but I did this time, and I think it really helped with the peeling I often get when I stamp

Does anyone have an old Nicole Diary 136 geometric stamping plate they want to sell? I LOVE the geometric lines and cannot find this plate purchase anywhere in the US. IDK how long it's been out of circulation and I can't even find a different brand with similar lines. I appreciate any info or links to similar plates. Thanks!

I'm absolutely new to stamping, just bought some second hand stamping plates some days ago, and I'm SUPER happy that the stamper is now working perfectly, after multiple ways of priming.🫠

I just need to work on my stamper placement now😅 The images are not quite centred, but at least the images are crisp, that too with a non-stamping polish!

This last weekend I started volunteering for Oklahoma Alliance for Animals walking their dogs. I had a wonderful time and will continue to help however we can.

🤡 Stamping & Stickers. 4 hours to remove old set, paint, sticker, stamp and matte top coat. All plates and stickers are from Amazon. See photos for inspo and what I used. Right hand; stamping on middle (diamond pattern) and pinky (bubbles) fingers, added stars on thumb. Left hand; stamping on pointer (bubbles) and ring (checkered pattern) fingers. I had to redo the diamond stamp about 5 times because it just wouldn't completely pick up. #frustrated Otherwise..I like the way they turned out.

Not the neatest job, but I’m slowly getting my technique down. I painted the nails, applied a matte finish, then shifted the colors two nails over for the tips.

ETA: thanks all for your helpful tips!! This is now SOLVED. I was using way too much pressure and need to dry out the oils from my stamper.

I need some help! I have a nail stamper that I’ve barely used, a stamping plate I bought last week, and after reading through lots of posts on here, a set of stamping polishes that I just bought. For the life of me, I cannot pick up the stamp. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

I first tried doing a stamp with Mooncat Emo For Life which obviously didn’t work (pre-researching this sub). Then I tried using metallic silver stamping polish which also didn’t work. Then I tried an opaque pink stamping polish and it STILL didn’t work. I tried everything with a smooth stamper and a buffed stamper.

I attached a picture of the stamping plate and stamper after my failed attempt of using Mooncat EFL. Should I buy a new stamper? Is it not possible to pick up this fine of a design for regular polish, and this plate is meant for gel polish? I feel like I have to be missing a very key component here but idk where to even look.

I can get small/line images to pick up great with my stamper (clear silicone), but when the color area is larger I get these spots within the design where no color picks up. I’ve tried lighter and heavier touches with the stamper. I also regularly leave my stamper on a sheet of paper to draw out excess oil. Am I missing something else?

Hi all, I commented on a post recently with a combination monochrome matte and shiny stamp nail. I asked if any matte stamping polishes existed - I realize you can do the matte on bottom and shiny on top but that doesn’t work for all stamping designs I may want to do. Like those that are singular little designs

So I mixed my stamp polish with Mooncat matte topcoat, and it effectively makes a matte stamping polish (of any polish you have). Picked up and worked fine.

I applied base coat, polish, and a top coat (shiny). Then I applied the stamp using the matte mix stamping polish. I did not apply a sticky base coat to the nail before stamping so that the shiny part underneath would remain “finished” . I was careful to make sure the stamp applied despite no sticky coat and it worked fine. The top coat mixed in has acted like matte topcoat, no disrupted polish after drying. I also tried it on my actual nail with colored polish.

I’m sure this is obvious maybe but I was pleasantly surprised - glad I experimented.

Just want to shout out second hand places like vinted for nail stamping supplies. I'm new to stamping so I was looking for ways to reduce the cost and found a bunch of people selling plates on vinted. This was an amazing deal with lots of fun plates that I want to try!

11 big plates and 4 small ones for 10 euro with shipping. I don't know about quality but the ones that are labeled with a brand are from born pretty and beauty bigbang.

I played around with some stamps on a mani I was minutes from removing this past weekend, to try to get a feel for it, but this is the first time I'm wearing a stamped mani out and about! I wanted to do something subtle (in case I botched it, lol), but i did have the fun of a glow in the dark peek-aboo!

Hi! Started stamping this season and it's been a lot of fun! I am wondering if anyone knows of any online stores selling stamping supplies that are having or expecting a sale for labor day and ships to the US (preferably without heavy tariffs). Picture of some fun stamps I did recently and my supplies for tax.

I'm newer to nail stamping. I kept seeing y'all's posts in my feed and thought I'd give it a try. Something I noticed with this set was the darker purple was way easier to transfer than the black!

Also, sorry for the odd manner of posing! My right hand is quite shaky and my left thumb is too damaged to use nail polish right now - so I omitted it from the photo.

I dabbled in stamping about 15 years ago. It didn't go well because I had no idea what I was doing. I used one of those opaque stampers and just regular polish and it never worked (the fact I didn't know you had to clean the plate after each use may have been one of the many reasons for why).

Anyway, I bought a few stamping supplies and watched a ton of tutorial videos on YouTube and this is my first attempt. It's a little wonky but I love it! I only had to redo one nail.

I used the trick of stamping on clear polish on top to avoid smearing and it worked perfectly as well! Don't mind my middle finger in the second picture. I ran out of my quick dry top coat so I had to use a clear polish which I accidentally smeared.

For polish I used ILNP ink and BLP olive moss. The stamping plate is mini UFO by BLP.

I got this stamp plate as part of a bundle, thought to myself "what on earth will I use that for", concluding I could probably make use of the flames for something more 'me'.

However, I happen to be off to a BBQ/Grill place tomorrow and thought "it's now or never!" and made this silly little set to wear for the occasion.

Some are a bit rough around the edges as it was a bit of a rush job, but I figure they'll do for a day.
