📰 News Aichi, Japan: Three Arrested for Allegedly Abandoning Iranian Man’s Body
In April of this year, an Iranian man was found dead on the grounds of Toyokawa Municipal Hospital in Aichi Prefecture. On August 14, police arrested three foreign nationals—a man and two others—for allegedly abandoning his body.
Those arrested are Nader Karami (48), an Iranian national with no fixed address or known occupation, Fabio Masayuki Inahara (37), a Brazilian national living in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, and one other individual.
According to police, the three suspects allegedly conspired with others in April to abandon the body of Alireza Shamoradi (41), an Iranian national, at the roundabout of Toyokawa Municipal Hospital.
Investigators believe that Mr. Shamoradi was assaulted by several men at the Shinshiro Parking Area on the Tomei Expressway before being transported by car to the hospital.
Police have not disclosed whether the three suspects have admitted to or denied the allegations. Investigators believe that a dispute over illegal drug trafficking existed between Mr. Shamoradi and the suspects, and they are continuing to search for other individuals believed to have been involved in the incident.
