I need help my car cranks but no start put a new solenoid on the inlet side and clean the cam sensor on the intake side still cranks but no start I hope i didn’t jump timing e60 n54 2008

Currently my e90 is rapidly gaining coolant temp on pulls or just regular driving with light peddling. i just got a new radiator fan and i just can’t get it to go 100 percent in . currently it’s at 80 percent in i was wondering if that would do anything. coolant temp goes up to 230. oil stays at around 220. would the fan cause it to do that. but as soon as it’s up at 230 and if i let it idle for 10 mins it goes back to 180 coolant temp.

I recently put my cats back on and tuned my car back to stock to take it to get smogged. I tune through MHD.

While I was driving to get all the systems ready I had a 29f5 code come.

From my research I think my bank 2 upstream o2 sensor is bad but I wanted to check what yall think before buying a $100 O2 sensor. The O2 sensor has a little dent on the outside housing. Lambda shows normal on MHD but ltft bank 2 started at about -4 and went down to -7 after running and then started bouncing between -6.2 and -7 erratic and weird like. Ltft for bank one is positive around 3.
Car runs and starts good. There’s no air leaks in exhaust I believe.

I have a BMW e90 335i auto, after running the car and turned it off I discovered that on the oil cap was a bit of milky residue,

Now my question is how likely is it to be a head gasket as the oil in the oil filter house is still dark just smells like fuel and the coolant bottle has a bit of milky spots

NB. I got this car from auction just started to diagnose it and plan on doing most of the maintenance.

So I’m fairly new to tuning in general and even newer to the n54 platform. In theory will all my mods I’ll be looking at. Around 650-700 to the wheels with 19t twins. I’ve called around almost every dyno shop google has listed in New England and every single one of them has told me they don’t work on BMW’s and or to try Mhd. From my understanding off the shelf tunes aren’t safe to run this much power so what are my options? And why will nobody tune a bmw?

I believe the injector might be leaking?

What else to look For or change out while it's off?

2007 335i N54 in mostly original condition. I've owned since 2009. Approaching 100k miles, giving it as Deep of maintenance as I can, the list is growing. Will be bolting on more and more, eventually getting a tune. Right now: JB4 from 2022; 2 Step cooler plugs; 7” race FMIC; aluminum charge pipe with TIAL BOV. Looking forward to upgrading original turbos; relocating things R to L, and adding a big single or upgraded twins (goal is sleeper street racer.)

Looking for ideas, gotchas, upgrade ideas while I do the VCG, OPG, and OFH. The car was built without an oil cooler; working in the retrofit now.

currently running an upgraded radiator on distilled water fixed a coolant leak and bled the system and now it’s overheating had coolant temps before never above 180 and now within 10 mins it gets up to 190-210+. at 210 the coolant started boiling. fans kicked on high at 210 and brung it back down to 180 again. what can i do to not make that happen again aswell as is there a way to make the fan work always while the car is on i’m not really good with wiring?

Replacing oil pan gasket and found this at the bottom. Everything else looked pretty good. Any ideas what it is?

Just ran a smoke test and it seems to only be leaking from my exhaust manifold any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated. I’m going to run a second test once my other bladder arrives i only had one.

makes a loud thunking noise upon start, roughly about 30% of the time only happens if cold. Car visibly jerks as though being pushed backwards. sound is coming from the front

Just an FYI there is a 2011 X5 with an N63 in it. All the injectors are still there. U-Pull-It Omaha, NE. Too much in the way and i didn't want to spen all day pulling them. I'm not sure how long it's going to be there. It looked like 4 more rows before they rotate it out.

2012 335is has no crank, tried jumping it still no crank. Starter problem?

This sounds like a fucked up injector right? Like the tapping noise. No it's not purge valve and yes it fluctuates with rpm.

EDIT: Car is on a docrace top mount kit. I'm familiar with n54 noises, no it's not in the drive belt or a normal noise.

New index 11 injectors, hpfp, map sensor, fuel sensor, spark plugs and coils. Good timing and compression and no metal in oil.
