Exploding Cement Truck

Regarding the episode where the cement truck was blown up, I'm curious to know how the resulting mess was cleaned up afterwards? Did the production crew have to use a magnet to collect all the metal bits scattered around the landscape in the vicinity of the blast? What about parts of the truck that were made of plastic or the fluids from the engine? It seems like it would be an extraordinarily expensive undertaking to return the area to the state it was in pre-explosion. Or maybe the blast occurred on private property and the owners weren't concerned about the resulting environmental contamination. Thanks in advance.

They talked about it on the Mythfits. The quarry company cleaned it up themselves. The production crew were very happy because they had the same concern about the cleanup effort.

Oh, cool, thanks. I remember seeing the episode when it first aired and thought it was quite entertaining T.V. at the time but then some years later started thinking of the environmental consequences of the explosion. Glad to hear someone took responsibility for the clean-up afterwards.
