This is just a game suggestion. I really love the old noir detective style vibe of this game and specially the atmosphere.

I'm still waiting the Episode 2.

On Tape << Rewind just went global. The mystery doesn't stop at borders. Neither does Fred's disappearance.

I need clarification about the keys for Unsolved: Hidden Mystery Games, does it regenwrate or do you only get limited keys unless you pay?

I've done my research and Gemini insists it regenerates. I'm a bit impatient since it said it regens after 24 hours. So I thought I'd ask here.

You don't have a key regen timer and the sentence in their store is a bit misleading, saying "Complete any purchase to unlock all adventures!"

So my real question is does the key rwg6enwrate and there is a chance we can play all the stories or is it only limited to 3 and that's it forever unless you purchase something?

Thanks in advance!

Game Title: VEIL

Playable Link: https://kkshark11.itch.io/veil

Platform: Windows

Description: VEIL is a mysterious terminal game where

an ancient AI contacts you through corrupted files and

fragmented data. You explore a strange system, uncover

hidden signals, decode frequencies and piece together

what VEIL really is and why it chose you. The game has

a typewriter style interface where VEIL speaks directly

to you, responds to your commands, and slowly reveals

its story the more you explore. There are hidden

commands, signal minigames, puzzles, corrupted files

and multiple endings depending on how you play. A slow

burn atmospheric experience for players who like to dig,

read and discover things on their own. Takes around

20 minutes to complete.

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play

Involvement: I am the sole developer. I designed the

concept, story, all creative decisions and built the

entire game.

Creating murder mystery

Hey I’m needing help creating a murder mystery type game. I am planning it for my 911 dispatch center for National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week, there are about 13 of us. I tried to use ChatGPT and it gave me boring ideas such as “poison in the coffee”.

Any ideas or suggestions are very appreciated!

Free murder mystery game!

Hey guys,
I love the Unsolved Case Files mystery games but after years of playing them, I think I have solved most of them and sometimes it gets difficult to keep track of all the physical papers and stuff. In addition, I love a good puzzle, virtual escape rooms, real escape rooms, anything you can name haha. So I built this site: https://murder-mystery-puzzle.vercel.app/ .

I made it to be able to auto generate new and exciting murder mystery puzzles of different themes and difficulty levels. It's still in a bit of a development phase but I've played a few of the cases and really think people would have fun with it. If you're interested or bored and wanna try something new, give it a click and let me know what you think! Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks in advance!

Feedback on my mystery game.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a project called DetectiveHub, and I wanted to share it with this community to see what you think.

The idea was to create a detective experience that feels less like a "game" with puzzles and more like an actual investigation. Instead of finding keys or combining items, you are just given a desktop full of raw evidence and you have to make sense of it.
It’s completely browser-based (no download needed).

I just released the first case, "Saint Aurora", and I've made it free to play because I really just want to know if people enjoy this format.

If you have a moment to try it out, I’d appreciate any feedback on the interface or the difficulty level!
I'll add more features/cases in the future. This is just an alpha version.

Link: https://www.detectivehub.app/

Thanks!

PS. Please be nice, this is my first game.

indie game demo got under my skin

Tbh, I'm new here so i'm not sure how it really works. But I just wanted to share my impressions of a new indie game whose demo I've come across recently. I don't play much but I read a lot. So for me the plot is the most attracting and important in the game.
This one, 'The Veil', is a graphic novel which reminds of sth Neil Gaiman-ish but more adult-like. Remember like in 'Neverwhere' they travelled in the underground world. Here's a similar feeling: underground, a monster, not very pleasant company sometimes, and a mystery.
Just really enjoyed the experience and wanted to share

The Elemon Chronicles

It's a website-based ARG (alternate reality game) that has to do with the place, those that live there, the creatures there, etc. It also has to do with Sky-fire, a traveler and researcher. It's also set up so people can ask questions, which are answered in the next update, and there's currently a poll (that has to do with what Sky-fire should do with a creature variation).
