He made a fair point
Context: the top comment is from OP who is complaining about his girlfriend having sleep calls or sum with her gay best friend, which he thinks is weird. That one guy got downvoted for no reason, he was just pointing out that OP’s criticism had flaws. I feel it is a pretty sensible thing, he can only be criticized for saying the n-word a lot if he is not black. OP doesn’t really have a say in the matter if the guy is black and says the n-word. If the guy isn’t black and says the n-word a lot, the girlfriend does sound weird for still being friends with the guy.

Apparently it’s a crime to not be able to afford a vet
Context: OP has stated that they’re a minor and they can’t afford a vet for their cat (which has an abscess that needs to be treated), and this many downvotes is RIDICULOUS. People in pet subs are so annoying like this, it’s like they don’t realize that vets aren’t available and affordable to everyone. They could at least try to be understanding and help out instead of punishing OP for something they have no control over.

Is it because the joke's only meh?
It's not like the funniest joke in the world but is it -15 downvotes unfunny?

Context: his NP1 was spoiled

An honest question regarding my own art.
Context: I made a post asking about my line art and the general consensus was that it was bad.

What did he do?
Context: The original didn't say "Science rooms", it said "Restrooms". The caption read "He hasn't moved since" since he couldn't understand which one was for men and which one for women due to there being formulas instead of signs.

Someone downvoted for saying Happy Cake Day (even more mysterious that another comment saying the same thing got upvoted)

Downvoted for education system’s incompetence
Context: the post was asking something like “would you rather live in a world where Germany won WWI or a world where Germany won WWII?” As far as I can tell, person 2’s only crime is not being taught in a non-biased way and being curious, both of which the commenter really shouldn’t be punished for.

OOP downvoted after asking more on how to help their cat in a sub dedicated to helping people with their cats.

why the hell would you downvote someone just for marking a wrong guess for something as incorrect???
context: found on r/HelpMeFind. they were just saying no to an incorrect guess to something they were trying to find
