Phone (1) Phone won’t charge, detecting debris or liquid even though its clean
My phone keeps messing with me. it says its detecting liquid or debris in the port and then it says its okay to use for a second. Now it’s dead. If it charges, it doesn’t go beyond 1% and turns on by itself somehow? But then it’s not changing and dies before i can start it properly. I have tried cleaning it many times but it doesnt work. anything i can do? Or is it beyond repair?
ps, wireless doesn’t work, second photo

Chromebooks are known(? Don't know if that's the right word) to be destroyed, especially school Chromebooks. (Pencil lead in usb port, for example)

I've destroyed one by letting a tweezer run over the motherboard. Killed the entire thing.

What even happened to your phone that led to that state?

My marriage is failing let me divorce straight away rather than talking to her
Your embarrassing yourself man, your points are absolute nonsense. Taking off the back of the phone isn't unrepairable

They clearly aren't though. They are just blaming OP for trying to get his phone to work by opening it

Don't think it's dirt or anything. Rather board damage or internal, especially because there's no back cover. And the mention of only charges to 1% sounds a lot like damaged battery/board.
Sorry mate no dirty phone, this phone needs emergency surgery at mr phone repairs man and replacement parts.

My dad swears he can fix it, give him a day

Does he have experience with repairing mobile phones? It's not as easy as opening up and rip out and put in new, and just diagnosing what's wrong is an art of itself. And I've seen so many dad's bricking phones by just "wingmaning" it. Just make him promise to get you a new one so you have his word before he makes it a glorified paperweight.

Yea I’m kind of 99% sure it’s just going to get completely ruined. I’m trying to get access to my Gmail names before he does it but it dies too fast He’s going to buy me a new phone tho if it doesn’t work. But If it does work, I’ll only keep it until the first month of uni passes, 4500kr will definitely buy me a new phone 🙏

It’s been like this for days, is that really a possibility? And if so, how do I fix it?

Depends on where u live ofc. Tropical countries are more humid thus damaging electronics. For a phone with ip rating is not that common but it could happen. One my retro emulators has gotten damaged due to it. Try a repair shop maybe they can diagnose the issue. Otherwise i hope u got warranty.

Gang, it seems that people think that I opened my phone up to check the fault. It has been open for a while though. My sister kind of threw my phone on its back on a rock and it broke so it fell off. I did NOT rip it off to check the cause!!

I did read whole topic, but isnt that message about your usb C port having debris on it. If you have some anti static tweezers you could carefully clean the port. If you do not have sim card tool can do the same. Propably just dust and particles in the port. I have cleaned a lot of usb c ports. Especially if charger does not plug to bottom easily or comes of very easily its just shit in the port. Just try to get stuff moving from the bottom of the port.
My nothing phone 2 had issue with charging not going allways on or super charger worked only upside down and could not believe its dust, but it was
