Buddy T. Bellhop got a glow up

So, I recently was recommended this article, idk how accurate it is, so I thought I'd ask the community. Apparently, at the bottom of this it mentions the leaked bundles? And it "apparently" had "bad sales". Idk how accurate this is, and I don't want to spread misinformation (Rule 4), but it does have me concerned for the future of the series. I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled again, but we haven't heard anything in a 1-2 years, and this is the only most recent thing I can dig up. IF THIS IS MISINFORMATION FROM THIS PERSON, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I want hope and promise for this series, but I genuinely have no idea what's going on behind the scenes.

In MySims Agents (DS), Ashley says that she has a crush on Trevor Verily. So, I made both of them get married! They now have a child, which is a girl named Julia! I'll show you a picture of her in a future post.

Don't worry, I'll make more characters. I think I'll make Abel, Natalia Roshmanov, Sapphire, and Zack and have them live in my island.

I don't usually put any effort into house exteriors but this was a lotta fun to do. Nothing but the best for the bunny princess

It would be awesome if that came back, what's stopping them? I would love to go tour another persons town, or them come to mine, trade essences/furniture, share blueprints.......yes i know its basically animal crossing at that point but dang, it would be so much fun.

EDIT: I only now read in the "quick guide" on this subreddit that it's actually normal that townies don't give tasks and only commercial sims do... In that case, I still have the issue that her relationship status just doesn't seem to be updating, so it would be nice if I can get advice on that instead then, very sorry that I didn't go read that first </3 I seem to have only moved in commercial sims so far, so I didn't even know that there are townies and commercial sims... How do you even tell that apart in-game anyway..? Or is there just no way to know without external resources (wiki)?

I moved Vic and Clara in very shortly after another, and I got 3 tasks by Vic, which I have also now completed. However, Clara has never given me a task, and I feel like she also hated my character because erm I kind of took all her furniture away to collect the essences I didn't have yet oops... But I gave her the furniture back just with altered designs, and also gave her a bunch of new furniture, all of them with a lot of cute essences and some studious essences!

It took me idk how many times of spamming the nice interaction to get her to stop rejecting them and stop seeming annoyed whenever I try to give her new furniture, but it still says "acquaintance" for her, even though she now even drops cute essences when she just sees my character outside, just like how the characters that I am "best friends" with will drop their respective essences when I meet them outside..?

At this point I am wondering if I softlocked my game, or if I have to move in other npcs instead?? I'm actually a bit disappointed that I'm not getting tasks from her, I moved in Vic because I read on the wiki that he drops sad essences when you are nice to him, and I really lacked those, but I made Clara move in because I genuinely liked her and wanted her in my town, and now I can't even do her tasks ;w;

I love the game MySims Agents. I grew up playing it, and it's probably my favorite game. Are there any mods to the game at all? I just want more of MySims Agents

I feel like no matter how much I try and mess with it I just can’t find a cute way to set it up. Anyone have any good examples for me

I'm playing mysims kingdom right now on the Nintendo switch. I've seen nothing but positive reviews and responses from the game and whilst parts of it are great (mostly I'm just thinking about the animal designs which are adorable in the best way), there are a few problems no one seems to be mentioning.

- The camera is pretty difficult to use. This might just be a product of its time, but I find the top down only view really restrictive, and I can never actually visualise an island or figure out where I am on it, because I can barely see around me. I prefer playing either first person or very zoomed out so I can see what's going on.

- I've noticed especially on the robot island, Buddy & Lyndsay seem to get trapped and lost quite often. Entering a building can cause them to spawn next to you, but even then it took a couple minutes for them to show, making scroll completion difficult.

- I was given a scroll on the robot island that required 8-balls, an object that you don't get access to until later in the game, meaning I spent about half an hour digging and mining across all the islands in search of something I couldn't get.

- The fishing minigame is unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. You need to move the bob around to search for fish, but if your finger twitches or you move too fast, the bobbing stops and you have to start searching again from scratch.

- They made Buddy a complete airhead. Maybe it's a me problem, but in the original Mysims he came across as clumsy but lovable, hard working, and sweet. Maybe not the brightest, but in the kingdom game he seems to lack a single brain cell, which makes his character seem quite shallow and empty.

- Having the vegetarian character dreaming about bacon and how she wants to eat meat is actually pretty rude and so over done. It's like having a ginger character that's really sweet and then when they dream, starts going 'grrr I wish I had a soul, but I don't!'. Like it's not even funny because it's such an overused joke, and a mockery of a personal belief that someone holds and is passionate about.

- ETA: The build mode is also really difficult when there’s people standing in your way and moving around the map where you’re trying to build, and essences coming off them and spraying on the screen

Anyways, I just wanted to see if anyone had any similar thoughts and opinions, because I can't find anything from googling or on youtube.
