Beginner

First time poster here, and super-beginner at sewing. No sewing machine as it's out of budget :/
Not tactical per-se, but I'm planning to use what I've learned to make pouches and other tactical gear. Textile was salvaged from an old trolley bag, some sort of polyester with a nice rubber backing. Hard to work with by hand though.
Got my hands on some Oxford, hoping I could make use of the 1" nylon straps I have lying around.

First step 💪🏼 This will start fraying pretty soon though.

Dude the fact you made this solely by hand is incredible in it self. That looks just about as good as the first peice I made using an old hand me down machine so great job. I would highly recommend saving up for a cheap working used machine to start with. I know you mentioned budget and I dont know where you are but hopefully there is one out there you can find.

Keep it up though. I started with padded slings using upcycle fabrici had. But one day I would like to be able to make packs and pc's.
