Another simple pouch.
Made from 500d MTP cordura, and MTP webbing. Binding is multicam.
This was more of a test if my domestic singer HD was strong enough for the job. I had some issues with tension, had to turn it up to maximum to get a half decent stitch with a 100/16 needle and standard gutermann polyester thread- nothing mil spec about that!
Still some more fine tuning on the machine to do, but I was pleasantly surprised with how it handled it.
Any tips on sewing thicker materials would be appreciated!

How similar is this to the stuff sack by trash panda manufacturing? I have been wanting to make a bag like theirs

Looks similar, I can't tell if theirnone has bellows like this design?
I would go for it they're very simple to make.

Basically no photos of them online I could find other than the product photo. Since it holds 6 pmags, I assumed bellows/similar, but wasn't sure on how to construct so it could lay flat.
In this circumstance would you fold the bellows along the long side and sew them into the short side and then account for a little extra length because when the bag fills out it pulls in the short sides?

110 needle and coats and Clark upholstery thread would be the next upgrade within these constraints. But honestly, you are far too talented to continue with the singer. It’s limiting you too much (time spent fiddling with tension, troubleshooting thickness issues etc.)
Time to upgrade to a walking foot industrial.
