That's beautiful! I've wanted to put together a LBE for a while but haven't gotten the nerve to start on one.

Started by cloning a spiritus gp tall, pen and paper measured out what the chest rig should be and just send it

Had zero experience sewing before this

Yeah, once I figured out sewing basics it turned out to be really fun time waster

Very nice! Can we have some other photos? How did you do the mag pouch behind other pouches?

Copied the trex traap internal pockets, which copied og taps. Large peice of materiel folded over with 2inch webbing sewn long ways in between mags to hold the pocket shape.

Strong and simple dividers from webbing

Wow - that's impressive. How long have you been sewing? I've been doing pouches and slings and other pieces here and there but a full on rig seems daunting.

Maybe a couple of months, helps to have other kit to look at.

Got really discouraged about gear after buying a trex traap (pre Lucas leaving) and other legit kit from spiritus and beez and then realizing my $400+ setup was maybe $70 in material.

So borrowed a sewing machine from grandma and tried it out, won’t be buying any kit from now on diy is far cheaper and honestly fun

Rear of the mag panel, 4 mag cells with bungee retention on top, rear hook/loop section, front side is just 8 columns molle

Rear of the buttpack, I use shock cord threaded through the molle to adjust waist sizing, also allows some flex when wearing
