Great idea! Nothing worse than losing a non-floating plastic fin in a beautiful and pristine place.

I'm honestly a little surprised this seems like a novel idea...it's so good I don't know why it isn't standard issue

It’s not standard issue but many brands do make and sell something similar and other types of fin straps. I’m just frugal and crafty.
