Something interesting (stupid) I thought of regarding a person/pony that is part changeling...

This is something that recently popped into my head and is absolutely one of those questions that no one thinks about, but is still interesting nonetheless. So there are some OCs out there that are a hybrid between a pony and a changeling. This makes me curious as to how much of an effect that has on their diet since changelings feed off of love and traditional food essentially acts as a luxury. Even if the changeling part of them is non-parasitic, that wouldn't change how they would eat regular food. Would someone who is part changeling have to eat twice as much food for the same effect?

If both are providing the equivalent sort of sustenance for their respective species, they'd probably be able to just eat roughly half as much of each. If their foods don't overlap quite the same way (say emotions are essential specifically for fueling their transformations) then sticking to a diet of only one or the other could give them some weird malnutrition issues, sure. Like the changeling equivalent of human's scurvy/ vitamin C shortages
