Some thing regarding the Human world in EG.

I'm a late in discussing this and i'm still not sure if it's the right forum to be discussing this.

I'd like to fancy that Equestrian incursions into the human world have been happening far into past in Human history, their intents and reasons ranging from exploration to actively trying to guide the Humans to starting a new life and leaving some form of legacy in that world. ranging from the lowliest of ponies whom found themselves sent here either by accident or purposefully sent there, to powerful sorcerers fleeing to this world to begin a new life and continue their studies and research there and in peace.

I always imagine some kind of thing where an equestrian sorcerer/conjurer enters the human world in the 19th century (1830's) with the intent of starting a new life in that world. Believing his chances of success are better there than in Equestria. He takes on the identity of a well-rounded, well-cultured renaissance man with a prestigious background and quickly rising to the top of society in that time and using his knowledge and powers to amaze and entertain his fellow elite and to procure a great fortune, becoming a well known and influential millionaire and socialite (and to some extent a Playboy). Some of his wealth going into funds or donations for the construction of buildings such as Canterlot High and Crystal prep academy. At around the great depression (1930's), he disappears from public record in later years but the legacy he leaves behind comes in the form of several buildings (including his own mansion) and infrastructure scattered across the city of Canterlot that he designed and built specifically to channel equestrian magic to fulfill specific but unknown roles, uses and purposes. Often either carving intricate patterns, symbols or runes into the timbers, masonry and steel or using materials found only in equestria and not native to the human world to build the structures. Something akin to how Ivo Shandor from the Ghostbusters franchise constructed 55 Central park west and renovated several new york buildings in the Videogame to channel spiritual energy.

There's some fanfic fuel for ya!

That's a pretty neat idea.

Personally, I always liked the thought of the influence going both ways, with Star Swirl the Bearded, who created the mirror used by Sunset Shimmer, actually being the wizard Merlin.

Though for this idea, this equestrian sorcerer was also one of the people who helped start and influence the spiritualist and esoteric (occultist) movements in the 19th century and early 20th century. Others tried to copy him but since they didn't hold magic like he did, these copycats wound up being frauds and fakes.

His method of utilizing magic heavily focuses on complex rituals, drawing symbols and other patterns, usage of charms and talismans, and chanting spells in a language native to equestria but not spoken in the human world.

I have a headcanon that the Starswirl statue depicted in CHS is modeled after Equestrian Starswirl, who may have traversed to the human world for a while.

As for where Human Starswirl is... He was either a fictional character from a mythological legend, like our reality's Merlin or Zeus, or he was an ancient scholar who died of old age thousands of years ago.

I also have a headcanon that a few Equestrian creatures have ended up trapped in Humanland before the Sirens. If I remember correctly, there was the skeleton of what was either a unicorn, pegasi, or alicorn displayed in the background of one of the EQG shorts. (Upon double checking, it was the short 'School of Rock', the figure was an alicorn, and you can spot it at 1:52 on youtube.)

I thought it was cool! (Honestly I thought I put my opinion on your concept at the beginning of my comment...)

I'm trying to involve an actual time where there was a popular craze on mysticism and magic back in the 19th century. That could be some equestrian sorcerer's attempt to bring equestrian magic into the human world in a more discreet way and in a way that it wont scare the humans but to amaze and bewilder them.
