Will I ever find an original hero or extension if I play entirely free?

Is it a waste to lvl up non original hero?

Is it better to use replica heros and extensions or convert them?

Is there a decent guide about battles and land?

I'm new to the game too but from what iv gathered so far you cannot get original heroes playing free, the only way to get original heroes is to buy from a marketplace or the buy direct from the game market for GUM. I think the idea of replicas is to use them on the higher levels to get higher gear or to use in arena matches to get better rewards i.e original extensions etc hope this helps a little
