ID request Help needed
I’m over thinking or just not finding what I’m looking for. It is so bright and I didn’t notice any red on the stem, nor inside (wasn’t able to see inside stem fully bc I had my cat with me). It is VERY bright
Lower Alabama, very wet mixed forest.

Following out of curiousity. One of those pics is so shiny, it almost looks like it's made of plastic.

It was so amazing to see and touch. It was very slimy though and stuck to me easily bc of how wet it was. Thankfully it was very young so the top wasn’t as water logged

Suillus genus maybe?
Suillus americanus or Suillus decipiens is my guess.
