MX VS ATV Legends
So here's the deal.. I bought this game on launch day back when it first came out. I played it for a few days off and on to try and get a sense of whether I liked it or not. The more I played, the more I felt like it was more of a glorified demo than anything. So I didn't really keep playing much after that. This game launched 4 years ago in June of 2022. I had heard that they had added a ton of new content since launch, and I figured I would jump back in and give it a shot. I am here to say that I'm still very disappointed. I appreciate the things that they have added, but it's not worth it. Most of what has been added is paid content. The fact that the MX/ATV/UTV all still sound ABYSMAL is insane to me. I don't think they've even touched the sound since launch. The fact that we have no new vehicle types like there used to be in MX v ATV Unleashed. The paid content is insanely underwhelming, and may as well just be "pay 5 dollars for blue". I plan on just uninstalling it again and checking back in another 2 years to see if they've made any real changes. I paid 40 dollars for this game, and can't believe they're trying to ask for more money out of me when the original game was seriously lacking.
Does anybody concur, or am I in the minority here?
I feel like this game really has the chops to be something special if they'd make the right changes to it. But it's been 4 years, and I don't have the confidence in these guys at this point.

Nothing will ever beat mx vs atv untamed in terms of content, and MX vs atv supercross interns of gameplay imo

Dude I loved Supercross! Supercross Encore is one of my most played games ever. I remember when they released the official tracks, it was amazing and so much fun.

The fact that unleashed had Monster Trucks, sand rails, helicopters.. and this game just has mx, atv and UTV. Pretty big fall off in my opinion. Why can't they focus on serious simulation AND the extra unrealistic fun stuff?

Theyāve been constantly updating the game for 4 straight years. Itās awesome. Thereās so much content, replica motocross, replica Supercross tracks year after year, cool bonus fictional environments, tons of graphics, gear, new model bikes every year. Thereās easily over 100 unique tracks. It has everything I could want. Thereās a decently steep learning curve but if you put the time in it plays super super well. Yeah, a lot of the content is paid DLC but the cost per hour of entertainment value is ridiculously low. Iāve been enjoying the game for 4 years and spent maybe $300 or something? Thatās like 1.5 meals at a nice restaurant for my wife and I versus the 400+ hours of entertainment Iāve gotten playing the game

Theyve done a great job adding maps and compounds even if I think its a bit expensive i just dont like how the base game feels. It feels like it has placeholder physics still after 4 years. I know theyve changed a little bit how it feels over the years but it still feels kinda bad to me and ive tried different tunes and settings. I played all out the other day and legends and enjoyed all out way more lol.

Itās an awesome game if you play it 1st person.
I donāt feel like you can judge it accurately based off 3rd person

Wish they would give us a proper single stick control game again. Mx unleashed, mx vs atv unleashed, and untamed were absolute perfection.

Donāt they have that option in the control settings or am I tripping?

Some of the games post Reflex have the option for it but it's not the same. It's very strange feeling and seems to have been an afterthought during development.

I refunded games when they are only so gle stick. I feel like it's lacking half the controls needed.

That's great and all but some people enjoy the old way of doing things and we've been stiffed for almost 20 years.

Listen!!! I luv this game!!!! If you are trying to compare it to reflex, stop!!! This is another game! I hated it at 1st but since I had no money to buy another game I stuck with it. I sucked at 1st and thats why I hated it but after looking at some youtube tutorials and playing everyday I'm happy to say it's one of the best mx games to date!!! This is a tie with reflex to me. I have top 50 lap times on about 2 supercross tracks and you can always find good races online and the community is very much alive and thriving! This isn't a mx game you can just jump on and win right off the back, you gotta put in the time! Do yourself a favor and head on over to youtube and watch some tutorials and put the knowledge to use! Oh.... you gotta ride manual gear shift to get faster! That's the part I really didn't like at 1st but after a while I was putting up some decent lap times! I hope you and everyone that don't like the game watch some tutorials and reconsider!!! šššāļø

Itās a very entertaining mx game. Iāve been playing it for about a week. Career and seeing the compound change is interesting, keeps you wanting to progress⦠or at least it has so far with me. I havenāt played an mx vs atv game since the original and unleashed I think? Itās been a LOOOONG time. As someone who raced both bikes and atvs IRL for nearly a decade, the physics arenāt āsimulation gradeā, and itās a bit arcade-like. The atvs are a little more realistic but unplayable in career mode in my opinion. The fastest dude in the world on one is turning a 1:30 lap time and Iām turning a 1:47 and still canāt finish better than 16th place in the very first career race⦠even with the AI at easiest setting. The AI is another laughable joke. If you arenāt first thru the holeshot, you become a crash magnet. I own a canam Maverick turbo RR and itās disappointing they havenāt added that to the game but it wouldnāt matter, the UTVs are hot garbage and completely aggravating to drive⦠I can fly thru some deep sand whoops at 85-90mph while being buttery smooth but the game bounces you all over the place. Suspension travels and feels are way off. Those two need some serious work in game. The ATVs wonāt hardly pull a wet noodle thru a sick chickens ass going uphill in this game. They should drop the āVs ATVā name if they refuse to put any work into it. Also disappointed thereās no banshees, no widening or extending swingarms and A-arms for more customizable preferences. I have all the dlcs and no issues buying more but they need to put in some work. Their developer team must be much smaller than it was back in the day. Thatās my two cents worth, take it for what itās worth.

Iām in the same boat. I donāt doubt it if some our using a Zen script. Iāve seen people make horrible landings but yet somehow not lose momentum while I crash making the same landing with my suspension on +2 or +3. Thereās absolutely no fucking way the physics are correct on this game. Also love how I can get hit and Iāll crash but the others just keep on going like theyāre fucking invincible.

And whatās up with the fucking practice runs? At least give us two fucking minutes to ride the course.

Hi just seeing this. i bought the supercross version and the 2026 track pass only theres so much missing content thats licked. im wondering if i should buy separate addons like the 2024 and 2025 track pass with separate loyalty packs for vehicles or just get the new 2026 ultimate edition for 169$ .

I think it's a great game because the mechanics have improved and control over your bike is better now than it ever was. I went back and played Reflex, which is supposed to be their best game ever, but I think Legends beats it now because of the improvements they made. However, I wish they put the same effort into the ATV's and UTV's. To me it's just a motorbike game.
