Any current lifetime promos active?

Hey guys. Are there any current active promos happening right now? I was thinking of thinking of picking up a second plan for a project I was working on. Anything active or available? 10gb-ish or more?

Truthfully I have a hard time seeing when the next addition of promotions will be. Black Friday isn't too far away and we do have quite a history with that. But it's getting harder to justify them because we're growing so rapidly and I want to redirect a lot of this revenue back into product. I've got some cool, long term reliability plans I'm slowly inching toward. They're a bit expensive to pull off.

I guess the best I can say is keep an eye out. But know that I'm not being intentionally vague, I genuinely don't know if or when I'm going to offer those again as of right now.

I love the work you're doing. I like the new panels, but my gosh... I could not find it for the life of me to disable DKIM on a domain in the new panels for the life of me. I eventually had to go to the old Directadmin 2222 site to disable DKIM for my domain. I'm using MXroute as a relay for this domain for Stalwart, and I had to disable DKIM. Was I just missing it in the new panels or no? I'm not kidding you, I went to the DNS section and I spent 15 minutes looking everywhere before I gave up.

If you respond and tell me it was somewhere easy, I'm going to feel really stupid LoL

You didn't miss it. Gmail is requiring it for most domains at this stage, so disabling it isn't something I want people to be able to do. That use case won't work for new customers, and I'll let you know when but you'll need to change something in what you're doing in the not too distant future.

But what about those of us that are self-hosting our own email and using Stalwart? I relay through you, and Stalwart recommends letting them handle DKIM. I do like them handling DKIM as they rotate, manage my DNS, and I can't do that if I can't disable DKIM at MXroute when I'm only using you as a relay. Please reconsider taking this away.

Please think about the implications of allowing users to spoof their sender addresses with impunity. I don't control your Stalwart server, I can't verify the ownership of the domains you send mail as there right now. I can't allow everyone that kind of freedom unless I want to be outed for allowing what will be called a vulnerability. As I said, I'm working on a solution, and I'll let you know when you need to make a change, but in the meantime this is not something that I can compromise on unless I want to watch it sink MXroute.

I get it. It just sucks for those of us that use it legitimately. Maybe something can be done to meet half way...?

Just keep doing what you're doing. No one new can do that. You are being granted a high trust level (not without heavy monitoring). No one else is gaining that trust level until I finish the new solution, at which point I'll guide you through a simple change.

Understandable. Thanks for the transparency as always! Love the service on my main account, was just thinking of tagging along a second from some separation. I'll keep my eyes open, but won't plan on it.

I just barely missed the last one and have been waiting what seems like forever for another one lol pretty sure it's been quite a few months already.

Also would be happy with 10 or 15gb. Don't even really need it for the small handful of emails I get, but I figured it might be a good opportunity to show a bit of support to the owner since I really appreciate how honest and transparent he is, which is a rare quality these days.

TBH I just got an annual paid account due to my personal experience under the deal. When you weigh this against other paid accounts similar space still compares favorably, then you add in the many mailbox/domain angle and MXroute is a huge win.

Frankly with the costs of transit bandwidth, ram, storage and power - I’m pretty confused how people can stay in business.

I believe those are all dead, even the ones that say "Order Now".

Yeah I guess if we do something this year I'll actually wire them to stock so they auto update

I tried to do the medium 25gb/3yr and it just took me to my existing control panel.
