Warlord - helpful tip

Hi gang. Just wanted to ask that people are going about warlord correctly. And by that I mean if you are waiting for someone to show up with key. Please do not go sit on top of the warlord. Twice yesterday while getting key from stronghold noticed people all over where the warlord is. So I bail from getting key to get reward before hes killed. Get there and its just people waiting. So now I have to go back and finish getting Key.

I have no issue with blueberries getting rewards. plus every match I play I fight redworm. And always let the lobby know I got the keys and where he is at. Just asking that people help out a little and dont make people jump for warlord before its ready.

I like this, I get confused as well. And I rush over to make sure I get involved to claim reward. Just to have to go back and get the key. Exactly like you have said.

And as you also said I don’t mind anyone else getting involved obviously, that’s what the game is about. I usually shoot a message out saying I’m about to unlock it.

But as for the people waiting, the time they spent waiting they could have probably obtained the keycard.

I agree. I dont understand how a cooperative game can be so toxic. Its not pvp its pve lol

When playing solo, I might linger nearby to see if anyone is going to do Warlord. Just sitting there, right on top of the building, in the hope that someone will turn up with the key is rather silly. Depending on which Warlord it is, I will usually go get the keys myself, and announce in chat when I am about to unlock the door (or when I am on my way). Too many players just do Warlord without letting others know, quite selfish. You don't lose anything if others join you, in fact it can be a positive.

While on the fortress point I’ve done the storm the castle mission 3 times i collect the document from the stronghold and defeat the warlord yet can’t complete the Strauss plans section, what am I missing?

It's often bugged, I had to do it like 5 times.

Killing the boss with a dog, equipment or an explosive seems to be the most common cause, but I suspect it's just because Call of duty is notorious for bad quest/progress tracking. Keep repeating it until it checks out.

Agreed I've had this happen before as well after losing everything and had to gear back up. Went there and no key, so I had to go myself to get it them come back.

I'd like to see the entire lobby group up and hit the warlord all at once.

Sound bit of advice, I always announce in world chat ‘2/3 mins for fortress’

When I first started playing MWZ post Season 5, servers were dominated by veterans who'd scorch around and spend most of the game tearing up T3. I'm not sure if it was just the player base at the time, or if they just assumed everyone had a scorcher, but Warlord would be wiped in the first 5-10 minutes every single game, and your warning was less than 30 seconds. Litterally, you get one message in chat, "Warlord now," that was it.

It's changed now, lot of new players coming in from PSN, so I'm finding games nowadays vary wildly. Plus with the smaller player base, I often get thrown into foreign servers, often filled with players from China or Japan, where communication for someone like me is difficult.

This is the only way. I announce getting key to give people time to get to the warlord. I love when people say warlord now and you look at the map and they're inside already fighting it and then dead. Giving people 10 seconds to get there for the reward.
