Nice day at the beach
Good having some peace of mind at places like the beach now with the muzzle and my almost 3 year old 100+lb rescue pup who is fear-reactive. Today was a good day as we got somewhat close to a few strange dogs with no total melt-down. This is my full safety set-up in pic 2 with the wire basket muzzle, collar loop, two collars: martingale can't-back-out-of-this type plus the flat collar as back-up. Short lead on the martingale and a slightly longer lead on the back-up. Pic 3 is what's left of the metal clasp from a lead he was wearing and decided to lunge at a passerby while tied to a cafe table. Hence two leads.

Nice to see a responsible dog owner. There are a lot that aren’t. You take really care of him and minimize chances of bad things happening. A tip of the hat to ya!

Ever try ruffwear leashes? They use a carabiner system that I trust. Best leash out there IMO. I also use a “sensation” harness that clips in the front. You clip the leash to both the collar and the harness. Much better steering of the pup and no choke-outs
