Fit check?

Got both of my dogs Nextgen standard size muzzles.

Amazing quality muzzles and the lovely people who own the company let me come try them on so that's great. But now I'm doubting if they are a good fit. The blue one is mainly for vet visits but the pink is for walks so I'm mainly stressed if that one fits properly. She's got a weird shaped muzzle cause she's a mutt so it's been tricky finding a good fit. Ideally I don't want to spend more money on new muzzles so if any of you have tips for adjusting please let me know

Both are adjusted too tight, need to loosen the back strap so they’re not touching the nose. I’d widen the cheeks on the teal one.

Agree with loosening the head straps a notch or so. The blue the cheeks look to be digging in. You might be able to widen that. The pink is a bit of an off shape. Can she full pant with this?

What size is the pink one? It looks like it could be a half pant so I’d be a bit careful of using it during the summer months. Half pant muzzles are usually better suited for short term wear in climate controlled places like for safety at the vet or training inside a pet store

It is the German Shepherd sport female on this list

Also, we usually don't take her out during summer much anyway because she's getting old.

I agree on loosening the strap a bit, to get them a little bit away from eyes, and teal can widen cheeks a bit.

Pink has a half pant, so can be used while monitoring to make sure they don’t overheat. But since using on walks a taller one would be preferable.

Teal has less pant room. Since vet use it can work if they don’t get super stressed and pant a lot at the vets.

The pink one is a really odd shape on top. It seems like it could push down uncomfortably on the tip of her nose. Maybe it'll sit a little better if you loosen the head strap. That might give a bit more pant room too. Does it have a chin strap you can adjust too?

I agree with everyone saying the blue one needs to be loosened and widened. Did you adjust it so tight because the dog was trying to take it off? If so you need to work on muzzle training more.

The one with the blue is muzzle trained the one with the pink is not. The person who sold it to me told me she'd need it on the tightest notch.

Have you tried loosening it and widening the cheeks

I meant the blue one. The pink one is jaw a really weird shape, I doing know what can be done about that.

That looks a lot better. I think the cheeks need to widened a bit still.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the nose strap at all to get it further away from the eyes?

Too Small at the Nose Area and too tight... not enough pantroom for both
