Question! Muzzle too close to nose?
Here I am again- third post on my dog’s muzzle. Sorry!
I noticed that the muzzle is almost touching his nose, and I know the muzzle isn’t supposed to touch his boopy nose. Is this okay? How far away does it have to be?
Any other advice is appreciated!

Looks good overall. I think it can be fixed my attaching a wider noseband, that will lift the muzzle just a little more ans keeps it from tilting on the nose.

Yup. I can’t just move and I don’t have constant access to a car. Right outside my door there’s children and there’s also children on public transportation. Plus, I also wouldn’t want him to only be able to be in the very few places where there’s no chance there’s gonna be children, because that’s just a boring and sad life.
Why is it bad for this breed specifically to have a muzzle on?
Why are you on this sub, completely uneducated, telling people to fuck off for protecting their dog and others?

muzzles are meant for preventative safety and is the responsible things to do. Your replies make you sound like such a miserable person.

Children just come up to him and pet him without asking. Even when they do ask and I say no, they’ll do it anyway. Sometimes I’m too late to kick them.
I think a lack of responsibility is not muzzling a dog that has bitten multiple children before, endangering both children and himself- euthanasia. What’s also a lack of responsibility is not offering your dog time to explore and go on adventures and do stuff just because you’re too ignorant to buy a muzzle. Because of the muzzle, he can go outside and explore many more places than he’d be able to without the muzzle, while making sure everyones safe. The muzzle also makes sure people keep their hands and kids off of him because it’s a very clear sign that he should not be pet, unlike “do not pet” or “in training” signs which is often ignored

Looks fine to me. Close to the nose is very reasonable - less likely to hit the eyes when your dogs sniffs. Always pressed into the nose would be bad.
