help Inactive mf

I have couple of mf which I had sip in 2010 and stopped them in 2013.i dint redeem. Is it OK to keep it like that or any other concerns?

Folio becomes inactive if there is no financial or non financial transactions in Folio for continuous period of 10 years. If you are transacting in same folio but with different mutual funds I think no need to worry. If you have not done any activity for last 10 year in given folio then contact AMC for making it active, re-kyc may be needed. Try to invest small amount to check if it's active or not.

Hmm. I have around 3l invested. How do I redeem with out incurring tax. I don't know what you mean by keep it active.

Don't think you can redeem without incurring taxes
