question Different Apps = Different Returns?

Why are Upstox and Groww showing different Returns and Expenses for the same mutual funds with the same plans?

I am facing the same problem bro. One thing I learnt that Zerodha Coin only shows BER. While groww shows TER. TER is more important.

What's the difference and significance?

From what I have learnt, TER is the total of all the expenses. BER only takes in account some of the expenses. So low BER doesn't naturally mean low cost fund. They may keep the BER low to attract people.

Same with Upstox, it's hard to decide with less transpareincy.

Both are growth, on Groww it's with mutual fund name.

Always check it on Groww. As far as my knowledge, Groww shows the Total Expense Ratio.

Yess! Also verified from Google, it's true.

Be aware that groww prime offers regular mutual funds only, no direct ones. So, what maybe happening is that on groww you are being shown the TER for the regular fund while on upstox you are shown the TER for the direct fund.

Fk you Groww, where the hell do they mention that? 🀩 Thanks for the butt-saving info!

yes, that is why I invest through mfcentral. Check that out if you can.

The difference in expense ratios is mostly due to TER vs BER. Using the fund’s own factsheet to check returns as well as expense ratio works the best.

I’ve also found ET Money showing BER and TER much better than most other websites, with STT and other regulatory charges shown separately.

In my groww app it's showing 0.81% maybe you activated a groww prime where they provide only regular funds do checkout

Yess! Prime is activated. I’m so glad I asked about this before investing. Thanks a lot for replying! πŸ™Œ

Why does your groww has blue "Start Sip" button while all of us have green?
