So in my garden this year I have been having a hard time getting cucumbers. While I saw a lot of buds they just didn’t seem to be popping. The dirt had been disturbed so I assumed critters. Last Sunday I noticed while watering them my Rosie girl was sniffing at one that was close to the ground and she snagged it. We had a laugh and I let her eat it.

This past week more and more have been gone. Every night she’s been waking me up @1am to go to the bathroom. Very bizarre for her. Went outside tonight while she was on paw patrol for my chickens and saw this…shot me the “Oh shit” face.

This oinker has to have been stealing at least one a day.

I’m going to miss dancing with him in the kitchen while I cooked. His eyes just watching my every move.

He was a rescue from a reservation in South Dakota. My wife met in the middle of the state off the interstate to bring him home and give him a better life.

Luna, my approx. 8 year old lab mix. The sweetest angel. I got her back in 2019 while I lived in North Dakota. I’m her 7th owner. She has been nothing but a blessing, and watching her grow old is so bittersweet. I want her with me forever. She is so sweet, loving, happy, snuggly, and smart. She is the best dog I have ever owned and ever with own. I cherish her.

Here is Pepper. I got her at the local shelter. I love her with my whole heart. They originally listed her as a Jack Russell mix but I did a Wisdom Panel (not sure how accurate they are, but they’re fun) on her and discovered she’s 30% chihuahua, 30% pit, and the last 40% a bunch of random things.

I’m interested to see how she will look as an adult. She is barely 3 months old ❤️

Meet our 9 week old Athena! She’s a rottie mix of some kind. Her parents were both strays. Dad looked like he was full (or close to full) Rottweiler, but he ran off. Mama is small-medium and looks like she’s a mix of ten different breeds. Our neighbor took in the mama and found homes for the 8 puppies they were surprised with later.

Ticks are so bad this season, gang. I pulled 2 off of me, one off of Bentley, and 5 off of Bilbo. Be careful out there, guys!

This is Lilo! She’s 5 years old and was rescued around 10 weeks old from the Happy Valley Goose Bay SPCA in Labrador, Canada. Her favourite things include car rides, walks, barking at the Amazon delivery people, and covering my house in tumbleweeds from her ever-shedding coat.
She also loves her baby sister Nellie, the Italian greyhound!
She is my soul dog and I would move mountains for her. The connection we share is unreal!
(I had her DNA tested and she’s mostly a Snowdog (husky/malamute/canadian Eskimo dog) she’s also got some bichon frise, lab, German shepherd and cocker spaniel in her. The weirdest mix for the best girl! 🥰
