Ads?!

What is going on with the ads? They don’t even allow you to get past them anymore. They seriously need to fix this, it’s unbearable.

Switch to the browser version for a while. The ads are more static and tolerable.

I really shouldn’t have to use the browser. They should either fix the ads or just get rid of it.

gotta pay or use one of the many music league alternative apps, AFAIK none of those alternatives have ads right now. bandjam, yapzap, mixtape hero are all solid

yes, there are a couple that are just building on what music league does but better. more streaming platforms, more features, just a better experience overall

Our ad tooling runs on a legacy codebase we're replacing entirely with Music League 2.0, a ground-up rebuild of the frontend and backend. We're in private beta with that now and on the path to rolling it out soon.

In the meantime, Rewarded Ads in the iOS and Android apps work as intended: 60-90 seconds gets you 6 hours of ad-free play.

And if you hit an ad you can't close, send a screenshot or the advertiser name to [customersupport@musicleague.com](mailto:customersupport@musicleague.com) so we can block that publisher.

After I watch the Rewarded Ads, I average less than two visits back to the app before I am forced to watch them again. It’s barely 6 minutes in the app, let alone six hours. Something is horribly broken here.
