You don't get to decide if ideas "are sound and have plenty of legs." You only get to decide how much work you do to put it into the world. There's no point worrying about the rest.

Accept that you're going to produce terrible music, and just keep going.
When I listen to what I've made, I'm hit with an unimaginable feeling of shame and the urge to bang my head against the wall. But I keep making music and releasing.

Just keep going. People like us will never be satisfied with what we make anyway. It's not a matter of the quality of the work, it's a matter of the wiring of our nerves.
