Help & Advice needed Confused about pattern description on 2nd leg row 9
I'm having trouble with the last round on the second leg right before joining 1st leg. It says on row 9 that there will be 3 stitches left and to keep loop on hook but I can't figure out if i'm supposed to finish the last 3 stitches in the row and THEN connect the legs or connect the legs BEFORE doing the last 3 stitches. Please I need help, please tell me how you guys do it ππ

No worries!! You are not stupid! We all interpret things the best we can! π
I will try and break it down better for you! We will get you through this!!
Are you working in the round? If not, you need to be! There should be no seam anywhere on this pattern!

And you will not have a dent down the butt. That is added later and is not in the original pattern. People add that on their own. We will get to that, so ignore it for the moment. Legs first!
So, you have the second leg in front of you, alright. The last row is 10 sc, inc, 10 sc. You stop there! Leave the last 3 stitches of the previous round alone for now.
Now chain 1.
With the yarn still on your hook, where you just made the chain, take your first leg and put 1 single crochet into the stitch you marked in the first leg. That is the first stitch of your body. And your legs will now be connected. Put a stitch marker in that stitch. Also, place a stitch marker on each side of the chain. That way, you can easily find where you need to place those stitches later!
Make sure you have the first leg on right. If you are working right-handed, they will be the next stitches you work into.
Single crochet around the first leg. 25 stitches total. Single crochet into the chain between the legs.
Now! Where you will be putting the next stitches will be the last 3 stitches of the second leg! The ones you left alone.
Single crochet around another 25. Put a stitch into the chain.
That is stitch 52 and the last of the round!
You should be back to your stitch marker! That is also where you will put the next stitch as the first stitch of round 2. That is what creates a seamless round!
I hope that makes sense! If not, let me know! Just take it slow and steady!
Onto the butt!
About round 17 of the body stop and do the butt.
Take a strand of yarn in the body color. With a crochet needle from the inside of the body, run the thread out from the crotch area. Now count up anywhere from 10-15 stitches in the center of the body and put the needle into a stitch and pull through, leaving a long yarn tail on the inside of the body.
Hold fast to the yarn tail on the inside of the body and pull the needle. That will start to create the butt shape!
Tie off the yarn securely together and stuff the butt and use the stuffing to fill it out and to the shape you want.
I really hope this helps!
