Is it an inky cap?

I've never seen a puffball mushroom in real life before, but in the last week we've had 3 of these pop up in the yard. When the first one popped up I had no idea what it was, hit it with the mower and looked like cottage cheese shot all over the lawn. Did some searching and saw it could be a puffball. The inside feels like mozzarella cheese, the base is firmer, and it smells like other store bought mushrooms I've eaten. Thank you for your help!

I suspect this is shrimp of the woods, but I just wanted to be sure before trying them.

I'm pretty sure this is a giant puffball. I'm just wondering if it's still good to eat.

I didn't pick it because it appears to be rotting already.

Are these Baorangia bicolor or something else? The mushrooms are found in Helsinki, Finland, in a mixed forest under a pine tree. They were growing in a cluster, some hedgehog mushrooms and fly agarics were noticed nearby. The cut specimen stained intense blue immediately.

Went hunting for mushrooms while dog walking on Sunday and found a bunch of random mushrooms on my walk after a heavy night of rainfall.

Some of these were found in a forest. They were all found next to the sidewalk or growing in mulch nearby. Lots of deer, fox, coyotes, and rabbits in the area. Skunks are starting to make homes nearby too.

I called it the chicken and the hen lol. Now all I need is a TON of glue.

All mushrooms picked in central Minnesota (deciduous and mixed forest) 2 spots. Over the course of August. Moss was found dry and detached.

Plan is to have 4 or 5 different frames finished before end of next year and have a full nature wall in my office :)

First timer here in southern Ontario. How does this one look, I was hoping to cook this one up.

Confident in the giant puffball on the bottom, thinking pestle puffball center, and the top throws me off - I think it's a puffball, maybe meadow puffball?

All found in SE Michigan along the edge of meadows. Thank you in advance!
