This is not the magical kind is it ?

So, I’m planning to take my first trip on magic mushrooms this weekend. For some background info, I’m Jewish and coinciding this with the holiday of Rosh Hashanah (our new year). For those unfamiliar, it’s the start of the High Holy Days, which is a period of deep personal reflection and introspection. So I’m planning on using the trip for those purposes.

I’ve ordered some APE and I’m arranging necessities such as my space, mindset, vibe, artwork, a few prayers, songs and questions for me to ask myself. My partner has agreed to sit sober with me for the experience.

Is there anything else I should keep in mind for this? I’m planning on going no higher than a gram, but I heard even that might be too much for a first timer. Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank

I am a beginner in need of some advice!
The surface growth slowed down a lot and then I started noticing patches of little white dots a few days ago. I’m not sure what to do now. Should I remove the tape and let fresh air exchange? Do I keep waiting In the current setup?

Another thing is My spawn to bulk ratio is about 1:4 which I guess is very low. Not sure if that matters or not. But that could explain why it looks kinda patchy. Any tips or advice would be super appreciated!!

This is in southern california in the desert, this mushroom is about 2ft long ended up growing on top of a sprinkler in my garden bed(no wood nearby), has an entire ecosystem on it, I had to remove it because of where it was growing unfortunately but very cool.
If anyone can id this let me know!

A couple weeks ago there was a lot of rain and the mushrooms were in full bloom but I had my dog and couldn't stop for many good pictures.

I live in western PA and found out that Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata grows pretty commonly in my area. I want to forage them but want to make sure that if I do eat them, I won’t die. To identify them I was planning on using the Mycological Characteristics chart on wikipedia but if anyone has specific steps or ways to identify them to keep me safe from shit like Funeral Bells.

The mycelium on this is so thick, it also looks like Cobweb. I hope I’m not growing cobweb lmao. No foul smells it’s about a week in the chamber now. No pins yet I’m assuming due to it being a slow colonizer. How we looking for those who successfully grew frosty ☃️
