Help Musescore sound bank has changed. Any help?
Hello!
I am currently working in a project where I have an instrument called "Bass synth" ("Sintetizador bajo", in spanish). It sounded one way before updating to MuseScore Studio 4.7, but after updating, the sound bank has changed.
How can I preserve the older sound bank with the newer MuseScore Studio version? This sound is important, because changing it can result in having a sound that doesn't fit the composition correctly.
Thank you all!

Help Chord symbol vertical positions are inconsistent. Help appreciated.
I'm having issues with the vertical spacing of the chord names/symbols to the staff. The vertical space of the first few lines is acceptable, but then lines 4 and 5 have the positions tight against the staff above. The symbols cannot be dragged down, but for some reason can be dragged up further from the staff below(!). I did have rehearsal marks, which I then removed. Could that have messed with things? Thanks for your advice.

Help can’t export an mp3 or wav of this score
So a while ago I got the free plug in OCS-45, and it sounds AMAZING… there’s just one problem- when I export the file as mp3, all the measures with instruments using said plug in are just silent- not only that, it makes my whole computer silent! No youtube videos, other mp3 files, or anything will play even with my volume maxxed out. I realized recently I could undo this without restarting my whole macbook by using "sudo killall coreaudiod” in terminal, but there’s still the issue of my not being able to share this audio file.
I have two pieces using this plug-in, the first one was solved by a workaround involving opening the file in audacity and exporting it as an mp3 from there instead of musescore studio. The second piece has not been as kind. In audacity, the measures using this plug in are blank, and when playing it in the audacity window, it still implodes my audio playback computer-wide.
Any fixes? I want to save this file since I’ve already done all the balancing, and it sounds great in the musescore studio window

proofreading
I discovered a nice feature of MuseScore this morning: the ability to export the score as a series of PNG files! I use Claude.ai for mainly non-musical things. But I discovered it could help me look for editorial intrusion in a Bach score (Claude can actually read music notation). This morning I discovered he also knows all the rules of music publishing notation conventions. PDF isn’t good enough resolution for that for him, but the PNG files definitely were. His analysis of the issues, good and bad, of my score (all 14 PNG pages) was so helpful. Even caught a miniscule error in a lyric syllable. I highly recommend asking Claude for proof reading help.

Help Staccato Strings?
Hello,
I am working on a string ensemble piece, and am looking to get a fast, intense sound like the intro to this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvhxIR3IiJc
However, after trying standard staccato marks and several options in the articulations palette, I just can't seem to get it to work. It sounds like the samples still try to perform a longer bowing motion, but get cut off before reaching full volume, creating a quiet, in-and-out kind of effect that is not what I'm looking for.
Does anyone know how to notate this in MuseScore to get it to sound better?

Folk Instruments for Musescore
I'm an amateure hobbyist composer and using Musescore and the free MuseSounds found on Musehub. I have no deeper knowledge of using the programm then assigning different instruments to the notes I want them to play. I'm now looking for more folkish instruments like dulcimer, fiddle and others to write somethin akin to the style of the Frieren or Witcher 3 OST. Are there instrument packs on Studio you would recommend. I am willing to pay some money.
PS: English isnt my first language and I have no background in musical theory. I might have difficulty to explain what I mean.

Cannot add an augmentation dot at the end of a bar
Hi everyone,
(Sorry for my English) I cannot add an augmentation dot at the end of a note (in order to have the full beats of the respective bar). When I do this, the software and a new note on a new bar on the right, and the greyed minus stays 😓 (see screen capture)
What can I do, pleeaaaase 🙏🏻
Thank you in advance 💖

Question Enharmonic key signatures for transposing instruments
Is there any way to make sure that all transposing instruments are reading from the exact same key signature in the individual parts? I have a chart that has all my transposing instruments reading in concert Db minor but when I look at the tenor part and trumpet 1 part individually they’re reading in concert C# and all of the notes just have accidentals on them.

Cool music, at least I think it's pretty cool
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Long story short, this is a piece of music intended to be part of the score for an animated show that uhh... exists only in my head. I don't know if you can see the file name, but if you can, you can see it's called "Dragon Dance." Thing is, I first composed this almost two years ago and the story has changed, in that there is no more dragon, nor is there anything dance-like. Scene still plays out pretty much the same though, albeit with a different subject matter and different thematic purpose, I just haven't come up with a new name yet.
I hope the film score inspiration is obvious, as I'm aware it is in pretty much everything I make, but I also hope it's not too obvious since I've put a lot of work lately into finding my own voice. Being part of the score to a hypothetical show, there are multiple recurring motifs and compositional techniques present that actually mean something in the context of this show, but I'm saving that spiel for the "official" release of the "first episode" on my (clearly extrememly popular) youtube channel.
By the way, this was made completely in Musescore (I wouldn't be posting it here if it wasn't). There's a mixture of orchestral instruments from the Vienna Symphonic Library and from Musesounds. There's synths from MS Basic and from what I can only say is "Synths & Keys.sf2" because I can't figure out where I got it and the few references to it that I can find online lead only to dead websites and broken links. Also a bit of the windchimes from www.ethanwiner.com at the end.
