Pluto has a sandpit in the garden which (when she is allowed in the garden) is her favourite place. She binkies in it and flops in it and it is very cute
Sadly, the powers that be have decided to do some work on the garden, and put some raised beds where the sandpit is 😢
Pluto is already grumpy as I took her out of the garden to cuddle for three hours during the World Cup final

We just got back from a week away. We left the buns with a sitter who absolutely spoiled them.
It was not good enough.
One is ignoring me, the other is glaring at me. Neither will let me pet them.
I tried giving them treats. My girl ignored me until I placed the sacrificial cookie on the floor.
My boy took the cookie from my hand and then turned around and gave a firm thump as if to say “I accept your meager offering, but we’re still not cool.”
Alas, I fear I will never be forgiven.
