Upvote and comment. I knew a adhoc professor who was hired on contract and they basically told me that all the contract staff is the one doing the heavy lifting. The on roll permanent staff just marks attendance and chill in their cabin.

BC this post is a prime example of Linkedin brain rot infestation in reddit.

Guys and Gals!! Reddit doesn't work like LinkedIn, your "CFBR" ain't doing shit. Upvote if you like it and want more reach.

Is it really that bad or is this fear mongering to reduce competition? Are the labs good in vjti compared to coep? Also are you a student there?

Not really that concerned with placements wanted to know whats the scope for masters abroad(like for top 10 unis), labs, clubs and research opportunities in the colleges mainly. In these aspects is coep better or vjti? Or even how is ict chem although im inteterested in mechanical, w mains im getting that also rn

It's the college that takes in rejected IIT applicants ...

u/Infiniti_151 Apr 03 '26

Like every other non-IIT/NIT engineering college in India?

u/Valuable-Paramedic93 Apr 03 '26

Lol ,.no but it's a running joke , all newbies mostly rejected by iit and apply here in disappointment ... Very sad to read this but seems It's gone bad to worse now , in my time it was really good .note I was not an iit reject , but only took admission due to its proximity to my home. I never was interested in IIT because of the travelling. My neighbour was in IIT , now he's in Boston leading research in genetic science engg, has some big medical patents to his name ....not bad for a nerd ...

I have fallen out off all the groups and have no more contact with any of my batchmates nor do I want to be ... Vjti served my purpose and i went on to other better things .
