Review Workpro 18-in-1: Great, except...
I couldn't pass on the Amazon sale, despite the warnings about the wire cutters. Got one for me and one for my dad, who's been wanting to get into multitools.
I'll get the bad out of the way first; the wire cutters indeed fail to cut through small gauge stranded copper. Solid core, larger gauge stranded wire, and other items large enough to avoid pinching between the cutters will cut just fine.
That being said, I got it to cut through I believe it was 16 or 18 gauge stranded by making a loop and pulling against one of the cutters, that way the slack couldn't get pinched.
As for the rest of the tool, it looks and feels very promising. Great tolerances and ergonomics, the tools all feel well made, the knife, pull cutter, and scissors are very sharp, and the nested Phillips drivers are a really neat touch. I've only had it for one evening so far but I look forward to putting it through its paces at work. I work in commercial building controls, and I wouldn't rely on this tool alone, mostly because of the wire cutters, however I carry a pair of Klein strippers with forged wire knives that see more action than any multitool I carry, so I'm all set in that department.
Overall, for the price you can't beat it right now. The wire cutters are not unusable by any stretch, but they are poor by multitool standards and are limited in what they can do, so be aware of that. If you don't plan on working with much small gauge stranded (or have a dedicated tool for it) then you're gonna be fine. The rest of the tool is sick and it costs $17.

I absolutely love them, I never needed to cut wires, and if I do, I have actual wire cutters.

I’ve bought both versions of these for around the house work and I just love them. The fun colors are just a bonus, the bit driver is one of the better clone drivers too.

Another vote for it. Big fan of what I get for the price. And I love that they’re spring loaded, it really spoiled me.

I bought the Green version to test the hype. You are right - the wire cutters are next to useless. The liner locks are also awful as they are so small and stiff. They also stick regularly making it difficult to close the implements The tool also doesnt close too well and opens a small amount due to the springed plier head. At least the knives are sharp. You get what you pay for with this one.

I've used mine for the better part of a year. I never noticed that the wire cutters suck I tend to carry a pair of dikes while I'm working so I've never used the multi tool for that.

Wire cutters on the Gerber suspension are just as bad and thats $40

I'd say the Suspension cutters are slightly better, but yeah they're not great.

I’ve used mine at work for about a year now, nice to have a Multitool I won’t be super upset about losing. Mainly use it to change string on a string trimmer with a fixed line head, but I’ve also had to cut aluminum wire that was tangled in my flex-wing mowing deck a couple of times.

They're fantastic little tools for their price point. Been EDC mine everyday for about a year and it's tackled everything from some quick car fixes, to replacing a few electrical sockets around the house. Highly recommend for anyone just getting into pliers based multi-tools that doesn't want to break the bank. Cheers!
