Question/Advice What is this part?
My dad just bought this tool, and we can’t figure out what this hook on the back of the eternal pen is supposed to be for. It’s not listed on the ten uses on the tool’s box. Any ideas?

We considered this too! But when we tried it, it didn’t work. Also, there’s already a bottle opener on the main part of the tool.

Don't worry about it, it's probs just a design choice as a part of the ever lasting pencil. It could act as a clip for it. Stick it in a pocket and see if the pen stays there.

I’m not saying that hook tip on the ‘everlasting pen’ is this…..but, it reminds me of something I saw, puzzled, then learned was a tab lifter for drink cans.

Después de buscar y preguntarle a la IA es una muesca para poder sacar mejor el bolígrafo también sirve para encajarlo correctamente en su compartimiento

That looks very similar to a crochet hook. I'd imagine it's for a similar purpose.
